[name_u]Spencer[/name_u] is a family name, so I feel like we can’t go wrong. I’m really wanting to use the middle name [name_m]Adam[/name_m](also family). OUr last name is one syllable (Berns). Is [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m] choppy? What do you think of [name_u]SPencer[/name_u] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m](my dad’s name). I’m a huge fan of alliteration so I think it’s fine, but would like more opinions.
A name I also [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] is [name_u]Avery[/name_u](not family) I absolutely love the sound of [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m]. But I feel [name_u]Avery[/name_u] has truly gone to the girls and I don’t want him to grow up being told he has a girl name or have girl [name_u]Avery[/name_u]'s in his classes.
So what are your thoughts on these?
Any other names you can suggest that sound nice with [name_m]Adam[/name_m] as MN? Our other DS is [name_m]Bennett[/name_m].
[name_u]Spencer[/name_u] is number one on my list so I would obviously choose it. I think [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m] Berns sounds better than [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]. I pair it with [name_u]Ellis[/name_u].
I love [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]! [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m] sounds good, but I love alliteration like [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] What about [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_u]Avery[/name_u]? I love [name_u]Avery[/name_u] as well, but think it works best in the middle spot.

I agree that [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_u]Avery[/name_u] Berns would be amazing! [name_u]Avery[/name_u] is on my own list, and I’ve worked through it all. It’s within the top 200 for boys (which isn’t honestly that obscure, imo), and despite it’s meteoric rise for girls, it’s also been on the rise for boys and is the most popular it’s been since the SSA list was created. Friends of mine know I love [name_u]Avery[/name_u] for a boy, and they come across little boys named [name_u]Avery[/name_u] and they always ask for me how [name_u]Avery[/name_u] was received, whether he was mistaken for a girl, etc. and they always say that the name is received well for boys and they are hardly ever expected to be girls. I have absolutely no qualms for using it on a boy, but it is a family name and holds very special ties otherwise for me, so I would love to have a little [name_u]Avery[/name_u] one day. And [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] and [name_u]Avery[/name_u] are adorable! Ironically, one of my first [name_u]Avery[/name_u] combos was [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m] [name_m]Dominic[/name_m]–but I never really liked just [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m]. It is a really nice name, though. I honestly adore both [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] and [name_u]Avery[/name_u], though, so I could get behind [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m] (which sounds fine and not choppy at all!), [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_u]Avery[/name_u], or [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m]. They’re all fab, and all go well with big brother [name_m]Bennett[/name_m].

ETA: I totally forgot about Spencer Samuel–which I love! The alliteration is super fun and I adore Samuel. I think Spencer Adam Berns sounds best of the three Spencer options, but Spencer Samuel is so fun! All your Spencer combos are fab.

In general, I think it’s probably best to avoid alliteration, although [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Burns[/name_m] isn’t too bad…
[name_u]Spencer[/name_u] sounds so great with [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]!
