Hey so I’ve literally spent all day on my ancestry. All day. There were quite a few Johns and [name]Marys[/name] but I did find some unusual and cool names so I thought I’d share :slight_smile:

Ooh, I like [name]Lorenzo[/name], [name]Case[/name], Kateriny (interesting!), [name]Isadore[/name]!

Ohh, um.
[name]Hilton[/name] is my grandfather, that’s the most interesting one I can think of right away. I need to copy the little tiny genealogy we know of from my mom.

I haven’t looked at my family tree in a while, but I remember being impressed by the combos [name]Anna[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Henry[/name] [name]Willoughby[/name]. [name]Both[/name] rather classic, but they are both really charming and unique… I remember there were several Drurys, too, which I thought was cool.

[name]Love[/name] this! I wish I had the money to spend on something like Ancestry.com but besides that, I don’t know of any free genealogy sites.

This is so cool! I was at the in-law’s this weekend and looked through one of their family books. I saw wonderful names, yet all I can remember is one that made me groan and giggle: Philinda! yow.

Ancestry.com is free for the first month I believe! You just have to be sure to “cancel” your free membership or they’ll start charging your card. I signed up for the free month, worked hard on it for that month, printed any and all information I could find, and then I canceled my membership. :slight_smile:

I found most of them through familysearch.org which is free. You just have to collect a little info from family to narrow down the search but you get the same records as ancestry.com. You just can’t save stuff on there so I just wrote everything down. Also I found out that [name]Leola[/name] who was my great great grandma also had a brother and sister [name]Loyal[/name] and [name]Lillian[/name]. I thought that was pretty cute.
