Spring Name

What do you think about [name_m]Vernal[/name_m] as a springtime name? I love [name_u]Vernon[/name_u], [name_u]Verne[/name_u], and [name_m]Vernal[/name_m] because I think of [name_u]Jules[/name_u] [name_u]Verne[/name_u] and spring and Mount [name_u]Vernon[/name_u].

I think it’s a cool name! It sounds really familiar to me as a given name, but I’m not sure why- whatever the reason, that makes it feel more usable!

It’s a bit too close to “venereal” to me, sorry.

I kind of agree with the “venereal” reference. I quite like [name_u]Verne[/name_u] though.

I thought folks might bring up urinal, but hadn’t thought of venereal. Fortunately, it still reminds me of pleasant things.

I’m afraid I must agree with this

I really like it actually, I used to think names like that sounded way too old, but I think alot of names are coming back and style, which is perfect for springtime because it’s new and fresh! I like vernal, it reminds me of a floral arrangement and the word eternal. I think it is Definately useable!

I know someone named [name_m]Vernal[/name_m] and I don’t think he ever had any problems with his name. TBH the sound isn’t my favorite but that’s a personal taste thing and not anything wrong with the name. So if it’s what you like I’d say it works

I love it! I remember learning about [name_m]Vernal[/name_m] pools in the woods. The peepers and frogs live in them in the springtime. It creates a lovely image and for some reason the first thing that came to mind is a nice light teal colour with light casting through it, sort of like under the sea.
