[name_f]Jane[/name_f] has lingered towards the middle of my list for a while, but I’ve suddenly started to like it a lot. Since [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is a simpler name, I’ve always thought something spunky and frilly should be in the middle. For a long time my combo was [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Fiammetta[/name_f], but it’s not as special as it used to be.
What middles would you recommend for [name_f]Jane[/name_f]? Other top names on my list are [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f], [name_f]Sybil[/name_f], [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and [name_f]Hermione[/name_f]. No baby being named, just collecting right now.
I heart [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], something about it feels spunky and light but also dramatic. And [name_f]Jane[/name_f] X. Whatever sounds like a badass name to me.
I like [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]/[name_f]Sibyl[/name_f] a lot actually. And [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f] has real strength of character.
Off my totally-unrequested list, I’m currently infatuated with:
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] or [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] - [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is the perfect vehicle for a 5 syllable middle name I think! Alternately, [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Liora[/name_f].
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Kelila[/name_f] or [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Ketzia[/name_f]
And some others. I really like [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I’m not going to get to use it, but I play with it a lot.
I’m not sure mine were quite what you were looking for though. Any leads on styles/themes?
@appellation_addict- I really like the idea of [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Saskia[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Minerva[/name_f], and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Isolde[/name_f]! Thanks for the suggestions!
@strippedsocks- I’m looking for longer, more eccentric names. Names that are more out there (like [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f]). I actually really like [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f].
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f], [name_f]Sybil[/name_f], [name_f]Esther[/name_f], [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] and [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] would be first names only.
I adore [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]- I have a typewriter named this. My other favourite [name_f]Jane[/name_f] combo is [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]. I love the PP’s suggestions of [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f]!
I think [name_f]Jane[/name_f] goes really well with middle names that end in A. Then again, that could just be because I love -a endings and it’s hard to find firsts where they sound good as middles…
