Spunky, vintage girl names that go with twin brothers Felix & Chester?

[name]Hi[/name], berries!
I’m looking for suggestions of girls names with character and a vintage feel! Our twins are [name]Chester[/name] [name]Ambrose[/name] and [name]Felix[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name], and we’re expecting a little girl in [name]April[/name]!
DH are really struggling to find a name we both love!

Some we like: [name]Dorothy[/name], [name]Matilda[/name], [name]Lucille[/name], and [name]Ruby[/name] (even though the popularity irks us).

What are some names that are spunky enough to hold their ground against the names [name]Chester[/name] and [name]Felix[/name]?

Of the ones you chose, I love [name]Dorothy[/name]. It works very well with [name]Chester[/name] and [name]Felix[/name].

Others that may work:

I like the PP’s suggestion of [name]Odetta[/name]. [name]Matilda[/name], [name]Lucille[/name], get my vote.

I think [name]Ophelia[/name] would totally rock next to big bros [name]Chester[/name] and [name]Felix[/name].
[name]Gemma[/name] even.

Totally relate to the struggle to find common ground with DH!

Of the names you have listed I like [name]Matilda[/name] best, but it is very popular in Australia at the moment (not sure where you are or if that matters).

I like the suggestion of [name]Harriet[/name].

Other vintage-y suggestions from my list of faves:

I’ve suggested [name]Harriet[/name] to DH before and he doesn’t like it :(. And I really love [name]Ophelia[/name], but the “phelia” part is too close to [name]Felix[/name] for us.
I’ve suggested [name]Odetta[/name], DH shot it down. He likes [name]Opal[/name], but it just reminds me of opium. Which isn’t good haha!
I really like [name]Eloise[/name] but it feels like its growing super fast in popularity.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far!

This is why I love my DH so much. He is pretty out there with names and I am as well.

Is there any particular styles of names he likes?

If he likes [name]Opal[/name] (a name I actually considered for DD), maybe he would like [name]Odele[/name], [name]Odessa[/name], or [name]Orla[/name]/[name]Orlaith[/name]. I must say, [name]Opal[/name] would work with the sibset, but I get the reason why you don’t want to use it.

[name]Odelia[/name] as an alternate to [name]Ophelia[/name] maybe?

You’re so lucky!
DH and I actually (miraculously) agreed on boy names, but with a girl it’s so much harder to find a name we both love!

I threw [name]Odele[/name] at him (I think it’s beautiful!) and he shot me down and said it sounds like “yodel”. And then he proceeded to yodel.
He seem to really like short names for girls, like: [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Lucy[/name], [name]Opal[/name], [name]Pearl[/name], and [name]Betty[/name].
He really liked [name]Dorothy[/name] because of the nickname “[name]Dottie[/name]”.

What about [name]Edith[/name]? nn [name]Edie[/name]? [name]Eda[/name] (ee-dah)?

[name]Chester[/name], [name]Felix[/name] and [name]Edith[/name] - like this
[name]Chester[/name], [name]Felix[/name] and [name]Edie[/name] - like this, too

I adore every name on you list so far! What about [name]Daphne[/name]? I think it would go perfect with [name]Chester[/name] & [name]Felix[/name]! Some other’s could be:

[name]Minnie[/name]/[name]Mina[/name] nn [name]Minnie[/name]?

I think those have the vintage flair your looking for! I

DH loves [name]Ada[/name]! And I really like [name]Mabel[/name]!
Thanks so much :)!

Lots of fun suggestions, I like [name]Mable[/name], [name]Ethel[/name], [name]Dorothy[/name], [name]Betsy[/name], [name]Frances[/name] and [name]Edith[/name] with [name]Chester[/name] and [name]Felix[/name], good luck!

My first thought was [name]Delphine[/name]. [name]Felix[/name], [name]Chester[/name] and [name]Delphine[/name] would be adorable!

To go with [name]Chester[/name] [name]Ambrose[/name] and [name]Felix[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name], how about:

[name]Hope[/name] that helps!

I love [name]Matilda[/name]!

[name]How[/name] about:

  • [name]Marguerite[/name]
  • [name]Eloise[/name]
  • [name]Millicent[/name]
  • [name]Rosetta[/name]

[name]Claudia[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Elspeth[/name] [name]Mabel[/name]
[name]Vivien[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Georgia[/name] [name]Nicolette[/name]
[name]Imogen[/name] [name]Dorothy[/name]
[name]Cecelia[/name] [name]Willow[/name]

[name]Amaryllis[/name]. She was the sister’s name in Oklahoma. I think it compliments [name]Felix[/name] and [name]Chester[/name].

I support [name]Dorothy[/name] [name]Lucille[/name] because you can get “[name]Lucy[/name]” as a nickname (to appeal to your husbands taste in girl names). And you will still have “[name]Dottie[/name]/[name]Dot[/name]”.

[name]Clementine[/name], [name]Myrtle[/name], [name]Maisie[/name], [name]Elsie[/name]. xxx

I love [name]Pearl[/name], [name]Opal[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name]. And [name]Ada[/name] is to die for!

[name]Chester[/name], [name]Felix[/name] and -
