I voted for [name_u]Lou[/name_u], but it was a tough call between [name_f]Bea[/name_f] and [name_u]Lou[/name_u]. [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is also nice but I don’t think of it as a nickname, but more as a name in its own right. I really dislike [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] and I think it’s a trend that will quickly fade.

I actually love all of them - this may be my favourite category of girl names.
[name_f]Mae[/name_f] I wouldn’t use because of the word “[name_f]May[/name_f]” which is nitpicky.
We seriously considered [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] when I was preg but I went off it due to popularity.
[name_f]Bea[/name_f] and [name_u]Lou[/name_u] are so lovely (sadly my husband doesn’t like 1 syllable names). I have a super soft-spot for [name_u]Lou[/name_u], it’s the perfect balance of sweet and strong, so that is the name I chose

[name_u]Frankie[/name_u] got my vote, [name_f]Bea[/name_f] in second. I like [name_f]Mae[/name_f], but wouldn’t exactly call is ‘spunky’ myself (she’s gentle and classy to me), and I’m really not a fan of [name_u]Lou[/name_u].
