Basically another NB game, and while I may be late to the party (well they’re having S2 later this year), I felt like making a Squid Game as an NB game. Warning: This is a death game. Please do not play if you are not okay with this concept. If you’re okay with the concept but not of making your characters die, you may just say they’re “eliminated” instead if this works for you. Anyway, I’m not going to make you create 456 characters, even if there are 456 contestants. You’ll make 20, they can be from any culture, though you’ll probably have more Korean characters in this game than other games since the game originates from [name_f]South[/name_f] Korea. They will play for 4.56 billion and are all in need of money.
[name_m]Roll[/name_m] a 1-6 dice on your characters’ names. Genders and ages are your choice. [name_m]Roll[/name_m] the D456 dice for what the number they have in the game is, skip if you get repeats.
- A Korean name.
- A name you’ve recently found and like.
- A name you find brave and mighty.
- [name_m]Nature[/name_m] inspired.
- Found in the “similar names” of a name you’ve used or a name you love.
- You choose, doesn’t have to be from this list!
Now the reason why they’re competing in the Squid Game is for financial reasons so roll a 1-12 dice as to why they’re competing.
- They used to have a great fortune but wasted it with bad purchases.
- They made a bad investment and lost a huge sum of money.
- They need better finances for the sake of caring for family.
- They’re doing this to help a close friend who’s in debt.
- They are in debt.
- Something great could happen in their life, but without proper funds, it could ruin the moment.
- They always lived in poverty and want to pursue a better life.
- They want to bail someone they love from jail.
- They lost their job at a bad time in life.
- They want to escape for some time but don’t have enough funds to do so.
- They are trying to pay for medical bills.
- You choose, doesn’t have to be from this list!
EPISODE ONE
The 456 contestants play [name_m]Red[/name_m] [name_m]Light[/name_m] [name_m]Green[/name_m] [name_m]Light[/name_m]! The game is simple, go on a green light to the other side, and stop on red. If caught moving at a red light, the character is out of the game. [name_m]Roll[/name_m] a D456 for how many people of the 456 people total survive the game. If you have 120 or fewer, add 100 to your roll.
[name_m]Roll[/name_m] a 1-10 dice for status of your characters, some events involve two characters.
- Your character completes the game very quickly and survives!
- Your character moves ever so slightly at the red light, and is caught, getting killed/eliminated.
- Your character nervously freezes for some time out of fear, but manages to have enough time to survive.
- Your character tries to push another player out during the red light, but because they moved during it, the pusher dies/gets eliminated and the other player survives.
- Your character survives at the last second, barely making it on green light.
- Your character trips while running, but manages to stay still at red light and get up during green, ultimately making it fast enough to survive.
- Your character moves very fast and almost becomes the first to finish, but is dead/eliminated at a very unlucky red light.
- Your character teams up with another character and both survive together.
- Your character is moving very slow at first, but picks up speed near the end and survives.
- Your character uses their motivation to stay in the game.
EPISODE TWO
The remaining contestants realise what this game entails and many want to leave. They have a vote on whether to stop the game or let it continue. [name_m]Roll[/name_m] a dice, if it’s even then majority voted to end the game. If odd, majority voted to stay in the game. [name_m]Roll[/name_m] a D8 dice twice for character reactions, you choose which character makes the reaction.
- Your chosen character is shocked by the game’s core, but secretly voted to continue.
- Your chosen character pretends to accept the result.
- Your chosen character is begged by loved ones to come home.
- Your chosen character is begged by loved ones to keep fighting.
- Your chosen character is worried of the risks but wants to stay to consider escaping later.
- Your chosen character is questioning everything about their morals by playing.
- Your chosen character wants to leave, but is close with another chosen character who wants to stay and is conflicted.
- Your chosen character fears the next step, but truly believes they will win.
If the game “ends”, the players will then get invited back to return to the game. [name_m]Roll[/name_m] dice again if they get invited back, even means that everyone continues and odd means you can take one character out of the game to continue their life, but they get no money.
