Starry Starry Night: Middles for Galileo

Combo time! I’m starting with [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] as he’s my favourite at the moment.

[name_m]Galileo[/name_m]
Clear starry winter skies, boy wrapped in a knitted scarf sneaking up on the roof with his telescope to look at them all. Planets, stars and the moon. Cold cold air, hands warming on a thermos filled with hot chocolate. All the trees are covered in new soft snow, twinkling in the starlight. [name_m]Galileo[/name_m]'s gentle, curious, clever and sensitive, it feels almost [name_u]Christmas[/name_u]-like to me, it reminds me of the song Home for [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] by [name_f]Maria[/name_f] [name_f]Mena[/name_f] (link). Colours are white, gold/silver and deep shades of blue and purple.

The middles I’ve thought of with [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] are [name_m]Altair[/name_m], [name_m]Hector[/name_m], Winterson, Earendil, Calidore, [name_m]Damon[/name_m], Brage/Bragi and [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], but other suggestions are of course welcome. I want starry names, gentle names and romantic names.

[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Hector[/name_m] Earendil is my favourite at the moment. I really like Hector with Galileo, they seem like a good match to me.

[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] is wonderful and go perfectly with [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f] although my favorite is still [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m].

I don’t have any combo suggestion at the moment and I truly believe that other berries will give you better suggestions anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Hector[/name_m] Earendil is perfect! I love it!!

By the way, Can I ask you something?

Where do you get your name sources? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you look on web or in any books?

I know it’s silly to ask but i’am truly interested.

[name_m]Vincent[/name_m] was my first thought! Might have been the title

I really like [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] [name_m]Altair[/name_m], [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] Earendil, and [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] Calidore. For some reason I’m just obsessed with [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] ______, it’s the perfect ‘starry winters night’ combination.

From the thread title all I thought of was [name_m]Vincent[/name_m]. [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] seems almost too perfect for words (I admit I’m horribly biased because [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] [name_u]Van[/name_u] Gogh is one of my favorite people).

That song is hauntingly beautiful. Listening to it on repeat now, thank you.

I love [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], as well as [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_u]Alexios[/name_u], [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Nicos[/name_m], [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m]…so many options!

Oh Earendil! Swoon! You couldn’t ask for a more romantic, starry name. And then if you put [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] in there too…at the moment my vote goes to [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] Earendil. Wow.

I suppose there’s probably an Internet source where you can read the story of Earendil, isn’t there?

[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] Yiannis [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], inspired by the stars and the cold crisp clean air [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] climbs inside and sits down at his keyboard the soft amber glow of an evergreen candle flickers as he opens his notepad and picks up his slightly dull pencil. Looking out the window at the snow on the trees and the ground he takes a deep breath as new flurries begin to fall. Gingerly he places his fingers on the key and begins to compose as a melody forms in his mind. [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f] sits against the wall shared by their room and smiles as she listens to her brothers music. Feeling the wonder of his song she sips a mug of cocoa and looks out the window at the same view the soft fluffy snow flakes drifting lazy to glitter like tiny diamonds on the already coated ground.

I love your imagery. I would love to have you give me imagery for the top names on my list. <3

I love [name_m]Galileo[/name_m]. Besides [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m], it’s my second favorite. The image you have is pretty similar to mine, so I won’t repeat you.
Your combo is very nice. You’re saying [name_m]Altair[/name_m] as al-tie-er right? (that’s the closest I can get to writing the right pronunciation >.<)

Galileo Hector Winterson
Galileo Hector Frost
Galileo Calidore Winterson
Galileo Damon Altair
Galileo Damon Winterson
Galileo Damon Bragi
Galileo Bragi Winterson
Galileo Vincent Altair
Galileo Calidore Frost
Galileo Cerulean Frost (maybe it’s a little too wordy, but I think it’s fabulous)
Galileo Bragi Snowden
Galileo Hector Winterhawk
Galileo Snowden Rossetti (this give a very subtle connection to Aphrodite)
Galileo Rossetti Frost
Galileo Dante Winterson
Galileo Hector D’artagnan
Galileo Vincent D’artagnan
Galileo Lucius Frost
Galileo Vincent Hawthorn
Galileo Bragi Rainer
Galileo Hector Wolfwood
Galileo Bedivere Herne

That’s all I’ve got for the time being. I’ll probably be back later though :stuck_out_tongue:

Hooray imagery!! I am definitely loving [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] lately as well. If you haven’t done already, it is the absolute most fun to write in cursive! =]
[name_m]Vincent[/name_m] is perfect because he’s so silvery. [name_m]Hector[/name_m] is also perfect beacause he’s pure gold. It will depend on which you want to be prevalent.

I think [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Hector[/name_m] Earendil is gorgeous. Also love @Greyer’s suggestion of [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] [name_m]Altair[/name_m]. [name_m]Altair[/name_m] is my favorite starry name (besides [name_u]Orion[/name_u] but that doesn’t quite fit here, too many O’s). The only one I don’t like so far is [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] Earendil. I don’t know, something about the Ear- start right next too [name_m]Vincent[/name_m]… it’s a little too morbidly on the nose (on the ear?) for me, haha. I’ll be back later with combos if any of mine can compare.

You have no idea how much I love your little imagery descriptions! I really enjoy reading them on your threads.

[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] is a wonderful name! I really like [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Hector[/name_m] Earendil, it’s very cool and I really like the way these three names sound together.

[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Damon[/name_m] [name_m]Altair[/name_m] / [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Hector[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] / [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Hector[/name_m] Winterson would be nice too.

I like a lot of Dantea’s suggestions too!

I snorted and spilled coffee everywhere as I read your comments on [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] next to Ear- !

I like [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] and [name_m]Hector[/name_m] very much.

[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Altair[/name_m] [name_u]Frost[/name_u] - all glittering space and stars like snow in the sky
[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Hector[/name_m] Boreas - I feel Boreas deserves thought for your list. I liked the sound of [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] Boreas too.
[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] Winterson [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] - had to throw in [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] - not sure why but it wouldn’t go away

Thanks my ladies!

[name_f]Belle[/name_f]: Books books books. [name_m]History[/name_m], mythology, fiction. [name_u]Read[/name_u] and thee shall find… :). The nook of names is a great website too.

[name_u]Grey[/name_u]; [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] [name_m]Altair[/name_m] is very nice!

[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]; haha, yes. And I love van Gogh as well, he was amazing. Oh, I’m glad you like the song! It’s one of my favourites for the yuletide.

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]; I’m pretty sure you can find Earendil info online. Google it! Actually, I did it for you, there’s lots of info.

Hootie; sweet! I like Yiannis, but not enough to use it…

[name_u]Angel[/name_u]; Bring them on and I’ll do it!! [name_m]Altair[/name_m] is al-TAIR (or so my Arabic speaking friend tells me). I love all your combos, my favourites are [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Hector[/name_m] Winterson, [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_u]Cerulean[/name_u] [name_u]Frost[/name_u] (fabulous!), [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Damon[/name_m] [name_m]Altair[/name_m], [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] Snowdon Rossetti, [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] Bragi Winterson and… let’s face it, I love them all. Thanks!!

[name_f]Amy[/name_f]; well, this was for you, haha! Whoa, it is fun to write in cursive! [name_f]Glad[/name_f] you like my [name_m]Hector[/name_m] Earendil combo, I’m pretty pleased with it. I literally sprayed my ipad with coffee reading your ear comment. It was too funny! I’d love some combos from you, please!!

Sapphires; thanks! I love those combos too, although the [name_m]Hector[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] seems too normal-ish. I want a swoonish name as well, haha!

[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]; [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Altair[/name_m] [name_u]Frost[/name_u] is gorgeous! [name_m]Hector[/name_m] Boreas too, but Husband doesn’t like Boreas!!! And I think I’m saving [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] for my [name_m]Remus[/name_m] combos…

First, I love [name_m]Galileo[/name_m]! Then, I thought about Galilelo [name_m]Giovanni[/name_m] or something romantic like that!

I’ve never asked an Arabic person how to say [name_m]Altair[/name_m], but I remember [name_m]Blade[/name_m] posting once about how it was supposed to be al-tie-er, and it’s how the Assassin’s [name_m]Creed[/name_m] games have it pronounced. I asked on here once about my character names and [name_m]Altair[/name_m] was one and I got a bunch of comments about how I was saying it wrong (I was saying it [name_m]Al[/name_m]-tare)

BUT,I just did some research and it does seem to be pronounced [name_m]Al[/name_m]-tare more frequently. Huh…weird… [name_m]Ah[/name_m] well, all my combos still work :stuck_out_tongue:

[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] or [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] Bragi…

Hmm… Off the top of my head.

[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] Lorengel
[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] Calidore
[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Altair[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] (initials)
[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_f]Marinell[/name_f] Brage
[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Lucius[/name_m] [name_m]Odin[/name_m]
[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Perseus[/name_m]
[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] Lorengel
[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] Remiel [name_m]Hector[/name_m]
[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Percival[/name_m] [name_m]Altair[/name_m]
[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Gawain[/name_m] [name_m]Severus[/name_m]

[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] is so much fun! I’m really horrible at the combos, but [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] [name_m]Altair[/name_m] sounds so distinguished and handsome. It feels like a glorious winter sunset. I also like [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Hector[/name_m] _____. That feels warmer like an [name_f]Indian[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f] afternoon.

[name_m]Galileo[/name_m] is fantastic. I like [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] [name_m]Altair[/name_m] or [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] Winterson (?). I especially like [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] paired with [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] but Winterson is swoon worthy!

[name_u]Kris[/name_u]; [name_m]Giovanni[/name_m] is romantic, but have a friend with this name!

[name_u]Angel[/name_u]; …and all the sudden I start to doubt myself. I’m pretty sure he said it like that… hmm. [name_m]Will[/name_m] call him later to sort it out.

[name_u]Ren[/name_u]; oooh [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] Bragi is gorgeous!!!

Amsie; swoon swoon, [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] Lorengel, [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Altair[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] Remiel [name_m]Hector[/name_m] and [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_f]Marinell[/name_f] Brage are all fantastically swoonish! Thanks so much!

[name_f]Dina[/name_f]; thanks! I like that one too!

[name_u]Jazz[/name_u]; Winterson is very special to me as it’s the surname of my favourite author, I’d very much like to use it! [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] [name_m]Hector[/name_m] Winterson for example.
