Hello Berries! I have been on this site a lot the past 6 months, and it has really helped me find a name I love for my daughter due in [name]July[/name] ([name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Hope[/name]). [name]Even[/name] though she is named, I still have to get on here everyday, multiple times. Now I think I want to start my own ‘favorite’ lists for fun, so I thought I could list the names I am currently liking nd hopefully get some feed back and suggestions. These are not official and very tentative, but would love to hear opinions, and especially suggestions.

[name]Genevieve[/name] – nice with nn Vieve
[name]Vivienne[/name] – ok but prefer [name]Vivian[/name]
[name]Cordelia[/name] – don’t like
[name]Noella[/name] – prefer [name]Noelle[/name]. But pretty.
[name]Lucinda[/name] - cute
[name]Carys[/name] – sweet and cute
[name]Adria[/name] – Too much like [name]Adrian[/name]?
[name]Camilla[/name] - Nice, pretty
Gentlemen:
[name]Oliver[/name] – love it. Very sweet.
[name]Elias[/name] – like this, with nn [name]Eli[/name]
[name]Jude[/name] – [name]Love[/name]!
[name]Cassius[/name] – don’t like so much
[name]Caspian[/name] – nice, on my exotic name list
[name]Julius[/name] – ok, but I prefer [name]Julian[/name]
[name]Augustus[/name] – I like [name]August[/name] but I’m still not convinced
[name]Alexander[/name] – [name]LOVE[/name]! So classic without being massively popular. And cute nick names too, like [name]Alec[/name]

[name]Creed[/name]- agree- it would have to be mn only

[name]Ivory[/name] - this is kind of pretty.

Ivory - way too racially loaded. Ivy?
Genevieve - beautiful.
Vivienne - lovely.
Cordelia - dramatic but could be wearable on the right child.
Noella - I don’t like. How about Noémie, Elowen or Nova?
Lucinda - the sound is just a little too thick, and I really don’t like that “loo” at the beginning.
Carys - I prefer the Charis spelling. The letter Y has truly been ruined for me by its abuse!
Adria - not a fan. Drusilla, Audra or Audrey?
Camilla - sweet, simple and elegant.
Gentlemen:
Oliver - very, very overused, and I prefer Olive on a girl.
Elias - swoonworthy.
Jude - handsome.
Cassius - really handsome, but the “empty vanity” meaning mars it for me. Cassia for a girl?
Caspian - I prefer Casper, Caspian bears such strong links to Narnia.
Julius - the simpler Jules is less of a name to carry about, but like Cordelia (for which you could substitute Delia or perhaps Cora or Coral), it can be worn by some.
Augustus - The prominent “gus” syllable is among my least favoured. August is just so wonderful, Augustus is over the top.
Alexander - handsome, timeless, classic.
Noble- mn only - deeply dislike. I’d relegate it to a VERY middle name position.
Creed- mn only - see Noble.
From your list, I would suggest, as well as the above alternatives:

Caoimbhe (kee-va, probably one for a guilty pleasure/unusable list but it incorporates many sounds you seem to like)
Eva - my nickname of choice for Genevieve but a strong, elegant classic in its own right.
Ada - it would make a beautiful, dignified nickname for Adara or perhaps Adelaide.
