starting early! suggestions (boy or girl) sibling to elodie & alora?

so Alora [name_f]Belle[/name_f] was quick and easy to name. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f] came a month early and didn’t get named til her second day in the hospital… the anxiety i felt each time a nurse asked for her name is not something i want again!

so i’m just getting started and could use some strangers’ input for fresh ideas! (i’m not due until september, just had a postive test a few days ago)

Alora & [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] both have a last name that starts with ‘N’ but this baby’s last name will start wth ‘S’ with only one syllable. i’d like a name that goes well with them, but isn’t matchy.

i’m having a hard time finding names i like that don’t end with ‘A’ like Alora.

suggestions please!

literally just added [name_u]Elias[/name_u] to the list!

also love [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] & [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f].

Beautiful names your daughters have… what about

I tried to suggest some names that didn’t end with -a, but I agree that is difficult! All the best!

One solution is to stick with 3 syllables but change the ending sound:
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f], [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], [name_u]Emerson[/name_u], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f], [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f], [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f]…
[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], [name_m]Jonathon[/name_m], [name_u]Emerson[/name_u], [name_u]Elias[/name_u]…

Honestly i think you should just repeat the ‘a’ sound, it sounds good together
[name_f]Marina[/name_f], [name_f]Alaina[/name_f], [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]

I think overall you are looking for a shorter 3-syllable name so
[name_f]Alaina[/name_f] or [name_u]Elias[/name_u] would be my top picks

thanks! great suggestions! i like [name_m]Edison[/name_m], [name_m]Cassian[/name_m] & [name_m]Leander[/name_m], and [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] migrated to my last from the last baby so good choice! i think [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] actually might be one of my favorites right now.

i agree that [name_u]Elias[/name_u] is a top contender! also [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f] is a nice one i hadn’t yet considered, thanks!

Hello! Congrats!
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] and Alora are beautiful names and I’ll do my best to give some suggestions

Anelle (Uh-[name_f]Nell[/name_f])
Brienn ([name_f]Bree[/name_f]-en)
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] ([name_f]Mave[/name_f])

[name_u]Asa[/name_u] (ace-uh)

I hope these names helped although the there aren’t many! I tried my best to come up with that didn’t have the -a ending but couldn’t help it with a few of those names, my bad.
Congrats again, I hope you find the names that’s the right fit!

Sorry to give you more names! They just came to mind and I thought I’d give you a few more possible ideas

I think another three-syllable name beginning with a vowel would “fit.”

Alora, [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] and

[name_u]Everett[/name_u], [name_f]Jolie[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], love them

the more 3 syllable names i hear, the more i like that idea. some names are so beautiful but i feel are just too similar to the other two, really drawn to all the suggestions starting with [name_f]El[/name_f]- but i fear that would be too much.

lol i know i’m overthinking it. that’s why [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] was named in the hospital…

[name_m]Felix[/name_m] has been an all time fav and on my lists since my first pregnancy… but i’ve started hearing it on playgrounds so i’m going to have to look into how popular it’s gotten. [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f]! [name_u]Simone[/name_u] and [name_f]Felise[/name_f] are also great. [name_m]Leon[/name_m], [name_m]Eli[/name_m], and [name_u]Noel[/name_u] are also great boy names, great list!
