Starting over with 2 weeks till due date! Help!

DH is driving me crazy (still love him though) We’re quite sure we are having a boy and naming him [name_m]Truman[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]. However we only confirmed gender at like 15 weeks pregnant so there is a margin for error. So we need a girl name as backup obviously. DH is so relaxed and just thinks babies come with names or by some divine intervention. I’m going nuts trying to find a name we can agree on.

I thought we had agreed on [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] but now he said he doesn’t really like it.
He likes [name_f]Celia[/name_f] and I do too but it just doesn’t roll off my tongue well or as easy as my other LO’s names. I like easy names, not in the top 100 and not a mouthful. (our kids all have 2 syllable names) Please throw any and all suggestions at me! I’ve had false labor the last two days and I’m getting so anxious!

Siblings are [name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f], Oh and we don’t do nicknames, just their full name.

Some names I like are
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] (DH doesn’t like so mn option only)
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] (way to popular)
[name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] (like but don’t love, also think it’s maybe tacky that Ruby is July’s birthstone)
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] (name is already in our extended family but I’d still consider it)
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] (getting too popular?)
[name_f]Celia[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] (Dh doesn’t like, I worry people will call her just [name_u]Gwyn[/name_u] or Gwynnie etc which I don’t like)

I didn’t even consider a margin of error for my son. It’s more likely the other way around (girl turns out to be boy). But…

First of all, I love your names! All of your children, your boy name and [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f]. [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] is likely to be called [name_u]Gwyn[/name_u] or [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] at some point though. Plus if DH doesn’t like it anymore, I guess it should be ruled out. I might eliminate [name_f]Celia[/name_f] since you’ve already used [name_f]Celeste[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] with sibs, but they each have slight drawbacks ([name_f]Hazel[/name_f] already in family, DH doesnt like [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_f]Faye[/name_f] only 1 syllable, [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] rhymes with [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]…). [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] are all pretty.

Some other 2 syllable names that might work:

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] ([name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] would be so pretty!)
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillith[/name_f] (likely to be shortened too tho)
[name_f]Sybil[/name_f]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]
[name_u]Simone[/name_u]
[name_f]Sabine[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
[name_f]Clio[/name_f] / [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] (tech 3 syllables, but could work)
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Gretchen[/name_f]
[name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Edith[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] (to close to [name_f]Elise[/name_f]?)
[name_f]Astrid[/name_f]
[name_f]Aster[/name_f]

Good luck!

I am in a similar situation due with baby 4 in 13 days. Also having contractions… I do love gwyneth. What about
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Lula[/name_f]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
[name_u]Penny[/name_u]
I love ruby, it’s actually one of my two names I am picking from. I am choosing between ruby and penny. The sibs are [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_u]Skye[/name_u].
[name_m]Just[/name_m] thought I’d ask way don’t you have the md confirm the sex bf delivery? Or at this point you want the excitement of it? Either way best of luck. [name_u]Love[/name_u] talking to another soon to be mom of 4

What about [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]?

[name_f]My[/name_f] only other thought is [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. [name_f]Norah[/name_f], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m] and [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] sounds so nice.

[name_f]Norah[/name_f], [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], and [name_f]Claire[/name_f].

[name_f]Norah[/name_f], [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], and [name_f]Clara[/name_f].

[name_f]Norah[/name_f], [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], and [name_f]Grace[/name_f].

Also: [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Tess[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f].

[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]

Too bad, I love [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f]!

[name_m]How[/name_m] about-

[name_f]Audra[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Gia[/name_f]
[name_f]Camille[/name_f]
[name_f]Greta[/name_f]
[name_f]Talia[/name_f] (similar to [name_f]Celia[/name_f] and [name_f]Natalie[/name_f])

I love [name_f]Celia[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f] and [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]!

I also second the suggestion of [name_f]Gemma[/name_f]

[name_f]Cara[/name_f]
[name_f]Maia[/name_f] (the spelling of [name_f]Maya[/name_f] is in the top 100 :/)
[name_u]Sasha[/name_u]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] (#99 :/)

Thank you for all the quick replies! Some great suggestions to discuss with DH

As for doubting the u/s, we weren’t told by the tech that he’s a he, we just had another tech friend watch the video and tell us what she thought (she was quite positive) But I know boys and girls both have nubs that look like boys that early, so it does happen that you are told boy and it’s actually a girl. I know I shouldn’t really doubt it but I want to be prepared. We tried to confirm the gender later on but our hospital has a policy against telling the gender so we didn’t get the confirmation we wanted. A private scan would’ve been well over $100 and it just didn’t seem worth it, but now I’m not so sure  We’ve been team green with the other 3 so old habits die hard, I just can’t wrap my mind around knowing that it is a boy for sure.
