Starting preschool= new name discoveries!

Hello from Scandinavia berries! Today my boys had their first day of preschool which meant a new name list to peruse. :slight_smile:

In their tiny class (7 kids total) there were [name]Albin[/name], [name]Alma[/name], [name]Astrid[/name], and [name]Arvin[/name]! It is only my boys (and one other half American boy) who don’t have A names!

Here are a few other that caught my eye. What do you think?

[name]Allis[/name] ("[name]Alice[/name]"- never seen that spelling before)
Tintin (??- I have never seen this before either, other than for the cartoon character)
[name]Arvid[/name]
[name]Siri[/name]
[name]Neo[/name]
[name]Kaisa[/name]
[name]Leon[/name]
[name]Nils[/name]
[name]Stina[/name]

And there are two other pairs of twins:
Afsana and [name]Madina[/name]
[name]Max[/name] and [name]Maja[/name]

Oh gosh, three of my cousin’s names are in that list! And while I know many disagree, I still find that [name]Astrid[/name] sounds too much like Asteroid :smiley:

I like [name]Siri[/name], [name]Kaisa[/name] and [name]Nils[/name]. [name]Alma[/name] is a rare vintage gem and [name]Arvid[/name] is interesting in a harsh sort of way.

Isn’t [name]Siri[/name] the Iphone thing? [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Maja[/name], think the spelling is really sweet. [name]Neo[/name] and [name]Kaisa[/name] are also really cute!
