Stazia/Stasia

[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] has never really appealed to me - it just feels to heavily Russian, but I love Stazia (stahz-ya, 2 syllables with a short A) which is equally exotic but more wearable on a non-Russian I think. It’s got a similar feel to [name_f]Zosia[/name_f] too, which I love.

Opinions? [name_f]Nastazia[/name_f]/[name_f]Nastasia[/name_f] isn’t my thing either.

*also, I found [name_f]Eustacia[/name_f] recently - would you say that as ‘you-STAY-see-uh’ or ‘you-STAH-see-uh’?

I like [name_f]Stasia[/name_f]/Stazia, it’s pretty and exotic without being too difficult to say. As for [name_f]Eustacia[/name_f], I would pronounce that as ‘you-STAY-see-uh’, sort of like U + [name_u]Stacey[/name_u] + Uh.
