Stella, Agnes or Frances ? Baby is 1 day old and I need berries help! ASAP!

[name]Hi[/name] Berries,
I am still undecided on my new baby girl’s name! We are still in the hospital and she is one day old and I’m undecided! Here are my top three choices. I am just not sure which one to go with now that she is born.
[name]Stella[/name]
[name]Frances[/name]
[name]Agnes[/name]

If anyone has any other suggestions pls feel free to add based on my like of classic 'old lady names"
Thanks in advance for your help!!!

I love [name]Frances[/name]! I think [name]Frankie[/name] is really sweet nn for a girl. I also like [name]Agnes[/name] “[name]Aggie[/name]”. [name]Stella[/name] is nice- but a bit more common these days. Good luck!

[name]Stella[/name] by far.

[name]Agnes[/name] is extremely nms, and I don’t like it at all. I don’t get the appeal at all.
[name]Frances[/name] is better, but it’s not better than [name]Stella[/name] imo.

[name]Stella[/name] is lovely.

I do love [name]Stella[/name], but it’s top 100. I like [name]Agnes[/name] a lot, like [name]Frances[/name] slightly less. What about [name]Agatha[/name]? I think I like that even more than [name]Agnes[/name].

I love [name]Stella[/name]. It’s my favorite of the three, by far. While [name]Stella[/name] is definitely an old lady name, it just sounds the freshest of the three to me.

Other names:
[name]Edith[/name]
[name]Dorothy[/name]
[name]Gloria[/name]
[name]Helen[/name] (though my friend with this name hated it)
[name]Carol[/name] (ditto with [name]Helen[/name])
[name]Ruth[/name]
[name]Sharon[/name]
Nanette
Darlene
Lorraine

I like [name]Frances[/name] and [name]Stella[/name] best. I especially like [name]Frances[/name], love the nickname [name]Franny[/name]. I only like the way [name]Agnes[/name] sounds in French. I really love the name [name]Agatha[/name] it sounds spunky to me and [name]Aggie[/name] is such a cute nickname. I would love to meet a little one with this name. Congratulations on your little girl!
other ideas-
[name]Sylvia[/name]
[name]Esther[/name]
[name]Ramona[/name]
[name]Martha[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name]
[name]Sybil[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Veronica[/name]
[name]Vivien[/name]

[name]Stella[/name] is my favourite of these three… others you might consider: [name]Vera[/name], [name]Rose[/name], [name]Greta[/name], [name]Marcella[/name], [name]Brigid[/name], [name]Joan[/name]

[name]Love[/name], love, love [name]Agnes[/name]!!!

I absolutely love [name]Agnes[/name]! It’s definitely my favorite of your options. I think [name]Nessa[/name]/[name]Nessie[/name] or even [name]Annie[/name] would be cute nns. I love the French pronunciation (ahn-YESS) just as much as the American one, and I think ahn-YESS makes [name]Annie[/name] more accessible.

I think [name]Agnes[/name] [name]Stella[/name] or [name]Stella[/name] [name]Agnes[/name] (or even [name]Stella[/name] [name]Frances[/name]) would be lovely. [name]Agnes[/name] is my favorite, followed by [name]Stella[/name].

Congratulations on your daughter, and good luck!

My vote is for [name]Agnes[/name]. [name]Agnes[/name] is stylish. [name]Stella[/name] is over-used. [name]Frances[/name] is my grandmother’s name, and I think that [name]Fran[/name] is too old-ladyish, [name]Franny[/name] isn’t much better… [name]Estelle[/name] is gorgeous. nn [name]Stella[/name], if you wish.
Congrats!

Agree…

Yep [name]Stella[/name]!

Consider which of the three sounds best with your last name… also which one feels right for you, when you look at your baby? No one but you can really decide… after all, everyone’s opinions will be different no matter which name you choose. Congratulations!

I vote for [name]STELLA[/name].

Any of these three sound pretty good in combination!
[name]Agnes[/name] [name]Stella[/name], [name]Stella[/name] [name]Agnes[/name], [name]Frances[/name] [name]Stella[/name], [name]Stella[/name] [name]Frances[/name], [name]Agnes[/name] [name]Frances[/name], [name]Frances[/name] [name]Agnes[/name].

I think of those, my favorite is (E)stella [name]Frances[/name], but I think [name]Estelle[/name] would be a really beautiful first name with the nickname [name]Stella[/name].

I vote [name]Stella[/name] too! [name]Frances[/name] reminds me on my Aunt [name]Fran[/name] and I just dont get the appeal of [name]Agnes[/name] at all –

I love [name]Stella[/name]. I think it’s such a sweet, dreamy name, and more suited to 2012 than [name]Frances[/name] and [name]Agnes[/name] are. I don’t really connect it to an old lady at all. It’s a fresh, current name to me.

I like them all, very much, but I vote for [name]Agnes[/name]

All three are lovely, but my favorite is [name]Frances[/name].

Congratulations! I vote for [name]Agnes[/name]. It was a front runner for our daughter, now 8 weeks old. Second runner up would be [name]Frances[/name] (nn Franna, [name]Franny[/name]). [name]Stella[/name] is lovely, but fairly common. Good luck.
