Expecting our first and have, we think just decided on a name if it’s a girl: [name]Stella[/name] [name]Blythe[/name]. My husband’s grandmother, who he is very close to, is named [name]Stella[/name] and we would like to honor her in this way. [name]Blythe[/name] is just b/c we like it, and the meaning (free spirit, happy, carefree) is lovely. Only concern is that [name]Stella[/name] is too popular and will only become more so… Thoughts?
I love the name [name]Stella[/name] and was going to name my first daughter that until I realized the popularity. I also met a few animals named [name]Stella[/name] which turned me off to the name. I was leaning towards [name]Estelle[/name] which I think is beautiful and sophisticated (and none of my friends named their dogs [name]Estelle[/name], yet). I love the middle name [name]Blythe[/name] that you’ve selected. Overall, I think [name]Stella[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] is a gorgeous name!

I don’t think popularity should matter to you because you’re using it to honor someone. If it really matters to you, I think [name]Stella[/name] will hang around the 200’s
