Stelmaria as a middle name?

So this name is probably too much as a first name, it’s been on my guilty pleasure list forever. It’s a name from my favorite ever book series, the His Dark Materials trilogy by [name]Philip[/name] Pullman. If you’ve ever seen the [name]Golden[/name] Compass movie or read the books, it’s the name of one of the character’s daemon, which is essentially the person’s soul living outside their body (which I love). I look at it as a kind of combination of [name]Stella[/name] and [name]Maria[/name], which would give it the meaning “bitter star” (which I also kind of love).

I pronounce it Stell-MAHR-ee-ah, which is how they pronounce it in the movie IIRC. Is it too much even in the middle, or is it doable?

It’s not my favorite, but I think it’s workable as a middle name. I much prefer Maristela, which IS a combination of [name]Stella[/name] and [name]Maria[/name] and is a legit Spanish name. But Stelmaria does have a nice sound to it.
