Now that I think we’ve figured out my main issue when it comes to finding other names I love, I think I’m ready to properly ask for help 
[name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] has been placed on a pedestal by myself and for the last while, regardless of how hard I’ve tried, nothing compares to [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] and nothing sparkles and shines as much as [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] does to me.
She’s classic-ish (only out of the top 1000 in the US for one year from 1900-present), she’s 80s, she’s got cool pop culture references that I love (Grease 2, Full House), she’s full of bright, colourful imagery for me, and has sweet, retro-vibed nicknames like Stephie (my mum’s suggestion, but I absolutely adore it).
She’s 80s teen romances and cheesy pop love ballads, she’s neon scrunchies and oversized sweaters, pink and blue eyeshadow and acid wash jeans, but she’s also butterfly clips and pigtails, makeup caboodles, lip gloss and cherry Kool-Aid. She’s 90s teen comedies and soft alt-rock, and [name_f]Britney[/name_f] Spears cds.
VHS tapes and classic Barbies, bubblegum pinks and bright purples, she’s sitting down to watch Family [name_m]Ties[/name_m] on tv, schoolgirl crushes on [name_u]Michael[/name_u] J [name_u]Fox[/name_u] and [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] McCarthy, [name_m]Jason[/name_m] [name_m]Priestley[/name_m] and [name_m]Brendan[/name_m] [name_m]Fraser[/name_m], [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] [name_u]Embry[/name_u] and [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] [name_m]Prinze[/name_m] [name_m]Jr[/name_m].

I can’t picture myself without a [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f], if that makes any sense? (Obviously I know there’s a chance I may never have a daughter, I’m not naive, but I can’t picture myself having a daughter who’s name isn’t [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] - if I were to have two, we’d be in a pickle lol).
So my issue is, I feel so strange having a list with just one girls name on it that I love, and I would love some help loving other girls names that fit the same imagery as [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f], or new suggestions that I maybe haven’t considered.
Other names I like, and might love with convincing:
- [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] (or maybe her more 80s sister, Jaclyn)
- [name_f]Jessica[/name_f]

- [name_f]Amanda[/name_f]

Any other ideas? [name_u]Or[/name_u], do any of the names I like fall into the same imagery as [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f]?

I think [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] and [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] would make great sisters. I also think [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] and [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] fit really well, particularly with the nicknames [name_u]Mandy[/name_u] and Jess/Jessie. They’re sweet and traditional but have a fun 80s touch to them, and I can picture your [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] aesthetic applying to them as well.
) It makes me think of Jacqueline Wilson (not sure how popular/relevant she is in Canada) and several of her books kind of fit your aesthetic
