We still can not decide on a name. Due to the comments from the last thread I made, there are some changes to our top names list. Many people saying that [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] sounded too alike to be used in the same combo together, and we agree. So that has been ruled out. Please leave your opinions on the names…
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - I like both names, but they are so similar in style to me that I see it more as sisters’ names than a fn+mn.
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] - beautiful! I love this. [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] are so strong and regal, and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] sweetens them up perfectly.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] - I think [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] would pair better with a less formal middle name as opposed to [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]?
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] - very pretty and elegant
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Adela[/name_f] - also very pretty. The ‘l’ sounds run into each other a little, but not too much where I don’t think it’d be usuable.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] - beautiful! [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] compliments [name_f]Isla[/name_f] wonderfully.
Overall, my favorites would be [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. Best of luck!
I feel most are pretty underwhelming, except [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. It sings. [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Adela[/name_f] is my second choice, nice and a little more distinct from the others.
My favourites are:
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] (love [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and they work nicely together!!0
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Adela[/name_f] (both are such sweet names and I really like the feel and flow)
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] (this has such a great flow and it’s really pretty)
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Adela[/name_f]!
That said I do think that in [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f] seems unnecessary.
Thank you for your reply. We are very big royal fans, coming from [name_f]England[/name_f]. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is very common here due to the arrival of [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] but we love it. [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] might be nice on it’s own, but we didn’t want to name her directly after [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
My favorite is [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. It is simply stunning.
Some of the others I love are [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Adela[/name_f], but they pale in comparison to [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f].
They’re all beautiful standalone names that are a bit wordy and stop/start when put together. Not to come off harsh.
Saying that, and completely going against what I just said, [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] works. But I think it works so well because it rolls together nicely. I’m not sure the others do.
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a gorgeous suggestion though!
If you’re a fan of the royals, some combos on my list which I think fit your style:
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f] (love love love)
&
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]
I like all of your options but [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] my favorite. [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a close second.
I think I prefer [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] to [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], but they’re both nice.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is gorgeous. I love it, this is easily my favorite on your excellent list.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is ok. I like both names, I’m just not loving them together. It’s just occurring to me that my brain might see Ch- [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and default to [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]. Though that’s an extremely pleasant association.
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Adela[/name_f]- I’m still am not loving [name_f]Adela[/name_f], but [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] is lovely.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]- Very pretty. The flow and visual appearance is so much better than [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f].
I love the names [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], and I also love [name_f]Adela[/name_f] as a middle name, but you could also consider [name_f]Rose[/name_f], as you seem to like it!
I love double middles- so my favorites are [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]!
Both are so beautiful, and not too common. My other favorite is [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
My favorite is [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is too much of a mouthful but [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is sweet and would be my second choice
