I cannot decide on a name for my third child… I’ve asked for help a few times before, but still can’t decide. I saw someone post a poll today and thought I might try that. Middle name is [name_m]Henry[/name_m] in honor of our son we lost, so that will not be changed. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband’s top pick is [name_m]Jack[/name_m], which I think is cute, but I’m worried is a bit too boring or common?
I like [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] alot! I dont think it sounds too common.
Runner up would be [name_u]Scott[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m].
My 7 year old nephew is Jᴀck Hënry. I never thought of his name as plain or boring. As for being too common, he is only one of 2 Jᴀcks that I know, with the other being in his 30s. I have heard of a few others, all but one of which are adults. [name_u]Scott[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] would also be my runner up.
I think [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is my favorite first name individually, but I don’t love how it sounds with [name_m]Henry[/name_m] as a middle. So I think, as a combo, [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is actually my favorite! It’s incredibly handsome, and while it is on the common side, I don’t think it’s boring at all. I see it as a very strong and classic choice.
I think [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is so lovely, and honestly all of these options are great choices. But here are some other suggestions you might consider:
I don’t think [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is boring! Yes, it’s popular, but for good reason. It’s a classic, charming name that wears well on any age. If you and your husband both love it, go for it!
Jack [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is a great name but It is extremely popular. I know approximately 20 [name_m]Jack[/name_m]’s of jack variants and popularity always sways my vote
I voted for [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] with my runner up being [name_u]Scott[/name_u] !
Jack [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is lovely. Very solid and classic.
But I’m a huge fan of [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] for a boy! I find it so quirky and cool, but smart and distinguished too. So my vote has to go to [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
How about [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] or [name_u]Finn[/name_u]?
