Still no name at 4.5 months

[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] or [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] but it kind of makes too many oo sounds in one name.

[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is gorgeous!

I think [name]Ruby[/name] is a darling name!! [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] would be my favorite in your list. I feel [name]Caroline[/name] is under appreciated and it’s so beautifully classic!

[name]Just[/name] my opinion,
[name]Kathryn[/name]!

I think [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is amazing! I also think [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] flows much better than [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Ruby[/name]. My dd is [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Marilyn[/name].

I really like [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Ruby[/name]. Or [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Vivian[/name].

[name]Just[/name] name her [name]Ruby[/name], if you’re going to call her [name]Ruby[/name], just name her that. [name]Ruby[/name]'s classic enough as is.

[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] is the best.

[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is absolutely beautiful.

To answer your second question, I think that [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] flows MUCH better than [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Ruby[/name].

I really love [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]. My next favorite would be [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name](or [name]Caroline[/name] or [name]Elizabeth[/name] first, but since you will call her [name]Ruby[/name] I think putting that first would be best.) I love the name [name]Juliette[/name] but I do not care for the repeated long “U” sounds like a previous poster mentioned. I also love [name]Vivian[/name], but not with ruby. They two together feel a little too old-fashioned to me, while [name]Caroline[/name] or [name]Elizabeth[/name] just sound classic. Good luck!

Ditto this. I really like the combo of [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], and like the flow of that better than [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Ruby[/name]. Ultimately, any of your choices are lovely, though. I hope you can find peace about this decision very soon!

Congrats on your little one! I like [name]Ruby[/name] paired with [name]Caroline[/name] or [name]Juliet[/name] best. Good luck!

I too think [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is adorable and elegant. I think it flows better than [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Ruby[/name], mostly because [name]Ruby[/name] ends on a vowel that easily opens into [name]Caroline[/name]'s first syllable. For [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Ruby[/name], the mouth has to shift from one closed consonant sound to another. It’s not bad, but I think [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] sounds nicer. I also think that if you call her [name]Ruby[/name] mostly, it should come first. Congrats!

I like [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] best, followed by [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name].

If you want to call her [name]Ruby[/name], name her [name]Ruby[/name]. I’ve gone by a nickname since birth, and - while I do love it - it has been somewhat of a pain to have to explain for decades why, exactly, I don’t go by my “real” first name. [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is a great combination of class and sass. A real winner.

If you call her [name]Ruby[/name], just name her [name]Ruby[/name]! It is a sweet, timeless name that works really well.

All of the combos you suggested work really well. Personal favorite would be [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] or [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name].

[name]Don[/name]'t worry about naming her. All of your possibilities are great so you can’t go wrong. Good luck

Today I would have a [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Jude[/name] nn [name]Benji[/name] or a [name]Noa[/name] [name]Celeste[/name].

[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] is my definite favourite.

So I’ve spent the day on this, and for the first time in 4.5 months (and really the whole pregnancy) I feel like I know what her name SHOULD have been. It should have been [name]Caroline[/name]. It’s cute, classic, spunky without any of the quirkiness that I was worried about AND she looks like a [name]Caroline[/name]. Well, she’s been going by [name]Ruby[/name] for 4.5 months, so I just don’t feel like I can change it. But I feel better about “caroline” than I have about any other name. Only took me a year (since I found out I was pregnant) to get to this point.

But maybe then [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is for the best. [name]Just[/name] wish I could have gone back in time and named her [name]Caroline[/name]. I think it’s perfect. I’ve been singing her Sweet [name]Caroline[/name] all day!

If you want to change it to [name]Caroline[/name] then change it. I have a friend who went from [name]Susan[/name] to [name]Meagan[/name] when she was five years old and was fine. Your 4.5 month old won’t remember the change!

[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] AND [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] are both pretty.

If you really think you should name her [name]Caroline[/name], just go for it! (Easy for me to say, I know…) I mean, at 4.5 months old she’s definitely NOT attached to the name [name]Ruby[/name]. I’ve known people who have changed their child’s name at 2 or 3! And I was reading through your old threads - it’s been a slow evening, ha - and it sounds like you really aren’t in love with the name [name]Ruby[/name] for a first name. And that’s OK! Because she’s too young to answer to it anyway. People really won’t judge you for changing it, especially since you don’t have anything on the formal birth certificate. [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] sounds just as wonderful as [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], and if she hits 15 and wants to go by a more unique name it will be there - in the middle spot - waiting for her.
