[name]Hi[/name] ladies I’ve posted twice recently about the dilemma I am in finding a name that both my hubby and I agree on. I often send hubby texts at work of just random names I think I could like but he often doesn’t respond which I usually take to mean he doesn’t like them. Well he is at work today and finally responded to a text I sent last week…like such a guy and he likes [name]Adalin[/name]. I know traditionally it should be [name]Adalyn[/name] or [name]Adaline[/name] but I’m not a huge fan of the lyn spelling and I’m afraid adaline would be pronounced add-a-[name]LINE[/name] which I don’t like either. I’m still not sure if I’m a fan at all but at least I thought about it at some point in time and hubs like it so I’m still trying to consider. I am concerned that it’s becoming too popular of a name. It would be either [name]Adalin[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name] or [name]Adalin[/name] [name]Melanie[/name]. any thoughts?
What pronunciation are you going for? AY-da-lin or [name]ADD[/name]-ah-lin? If it’s the latter, I would suggest spelling it [name]Adeline[/name].
I like [name]Adalin[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name] better of the two options, although I prefer [name]Adeline[/name] (both in spelling and pronunciation!). I think [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name] would be just lovely. [name]Adalin[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name]/[name]Adalyn[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name] is quite sweet, though, too.
thanks ladies we just realized it’s too close to my hubby’s niece’s name which is addison…oops
