We’re still searching for a name for [name]Grace[/name] & [name]Eve[/name]'s sister, due in early [name]April[/name]. [name]Just[/name] when we think we have “the” name, we get cold feet and change our minds (full disclosure: I change MY mind :rolleyes: – DH is incredibly accommodating and patient).
What are your thoughts on these names, and how they’d work with [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Eve[/name]? (The middle name will be a family name – and we have many great ones to choose from that will nicely compliment any of these – so our main focus is finding “the” first name, which is what she’ll be called 99% of the time; plus all of these would be fine with our last name.)
[name]Agnes[/name]
[name]Hannah[/name]
[name]Ingrid[/name]
[name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Rose[/name]*
[name]Sarah[/name]
If anyone has any other suggestions, we’re open to them; here’s an idea of what we’ve been through so far:
Names that we like or could “work,” but can’t use: [name]Anne[/name]/[name]Anna[/name]; [name]Claire[/name]; [name]Chloe[/name]; [name]Eleanor[/name]; [name]Emma[/name]; [name]Jane[/name]; [name]Katherine[/name]; [name]Madeleine[/name]; [name]Mae[/name]; [name]Maeve[/name]; [name]Mary[/name] (FWIW, of these, [name]Jane[/name], [name]Katherine[/name] & [name]Mary[/name] were our favorites)
Names that could “work,” but we rejected b/c either DH or I didn’t like: [name]Alice[/name]; [name]Beatrice[/name]; [name]Beth[/name]; [name]Blythe[/name]; [name]Bryn[/name]; [name]Diana[/name]; [name]Elizabeth[/name]; [name]Faye[/name]; [name]Fleur[/name]; [name]Helen[/name]; [name]Ivy[/name]; [name]Julia[/name]; [name]June[/name]; [name]Kate[/name]; [name]Lynn[/name]; [name]Nell[/name]; [name]Nora[/name]; [name]Pearl[/name]; [name]Phoebe[/name]; [name]Quinn[/name]; [name]Ruby[/name]; [name]Ruth[/name]; [name]Sofia[/name]; [name]Stella[/name]; [name]Tess[/name]; [name]Violet[/name]; [name]Willa[/name]; [name]Wren[/name];
*[name]Rose[/name]: We know that [name]Rose[/name] “works,” but we’re not completely sold on it – yet; it may be the winner, by default.
Thanks again for your help!
