So, after a few posts and more discussion getting us nowhere fast, I sent DH roaming through the boy forum postings for a while. We decided to try to think of names we could actually imagine calling “our son” and work from there. Seemed like a good idea. Out last name is [name]Lewi[/name]$.
[name]William[/name] - still on the list, suddenly [name]Will[/name] doesn’t seem too bad but still hate [name]Willie[/name] or [name]Billy[/name], still like [name]Wim[/name] too
[name]Malcolm[/name] - DH - we both loved [name]Mac[/name] as a nn, any other ways to get there?
[name]Sean[/name] - DH loved the idea of [name]Sean[/name] [name]Lewi[/name]$ and it does sound nice. What do you think of [name]Sean[/name] ([name]Shawn[/name]) [name]William[/name]? Is it too boring?
[name]Marcus[/name] - DH again, [name]Marcus[/name] [name]Lewi[/name]$ doesn’t thrill me but [name]Marc[/name] isn’t that bad, is it?
[name]Jasper[/name] - [name]Jazz[/name], [name]Perry[/name]? Still, such a cool name
[name]Frederick[/name] or [name]Richard[/name] - we both liked [name]Rick[/name] and [name]Ricky[/name]

Topping the list are [name]Malcolm[/name], [name]Nathan[/name] and [name]Sean[/name] right now. We are so all over the place with boy names. [name]May[/name] just find out if Bump is a boy or girl to avoid the insanity.
[name]William[/name]: I also dislike [name]Willie[/name] or [name]Billy[/name], but like [name]Will[/name]. I think this is a solid choice if you just can’t agree on anything else.
[name]Malcolm[/name]: I adore [name]Malcolm[/name], it’s definitely my favorite on your list. I know a couple [name]Mac[/name]'s named [name]Mackenzie[/name] and [name]Maverick[/name] respectively.
[name]Sean[/name]: It’s solid, but definitely doesn’t hold the charm of your other name choices.
[name]Marcus[/name]: [name]Marcus[/name] isn’t a bad name, but I dislike how both his first name and last name would end with s’s- it makes it sounds clunky.
[name]Jasper[/name]: Not sure if I love either of the nicknames you mentioned, they both seem like a stretch. I really like [name]Jasper[/name], though, it has a fantastic energy. It would be my second choice.
[name]Frederick[/name] or [name]Richard[/name]: [name]Both[/name] names are solid, but feel a bit musty and middle-aged to me.
[name]Nathan[/name]: [name]Nathan[/name] and [name]Nate[/name] are both adorable, and flow wonderfully with your last name.
My top three choices would be [name]Malcolm[/name], [name]Jasper[/name], and [name]Nathan[/name].
[name]William[/name] - I like [name]Will[/name] as a nn, not sure about [name]Wim[/name] - how do you pronounce it? Vim? Whim?
