Definitely [name]Vivian[/name], and I would go with a one syllable MN, that is why I chose [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Claire[/name]

I can see why you’re having trouble-- all four names are gorgeous! Here are my thoughts about the names:

  • I like the name [name]Juliet[/name] a little bit better than [name]Vivian[/name]
  • I like the flow of [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Dow[/name] better than [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Dow[/name]
  • I think [name]Juliet[/name] fits better in the sibset of [name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]Nathaniel[/name]
  • [name]Claire[/name] is a little jarring with [name]Dow[/name]
  • [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Clara[/name] flows a little better than [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Clara[/name], though stylistically, I like [name]Juliet[/name] with [name]Clara[/name]

You can’t go wrong with any of the four. I voted for [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Clara[/name], but only because I, personally, like the name [name]Juliet[/name] better.

[name]Hi[/name] there! I love [name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Micah[/name]!

[name]Vivian[/name] [name]Claire[/name] [name]Dow[/name]: I love the sound of [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Dow[/name], but [name]Claire[/name] [name]Dow[/name] sounds blunt to me.

[name]Vivian[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Dow[/name]: I really love this, and gave this my vote. Vivan [name]Clara[/name] feels so elegant to me, and reminds me of an Old Hollywood actress.

[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Claire[/name] [name]Dow[/name]: I love [name]Juliet[/name], but I think a longer middle would sound better…I also love the sound of [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Dow[/name] more than [name]Clara[/name] [name]Dow[/name], but I think both names are amazing.

[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Dow[/name]: I think that [name]Clara[/name] [name]Dow[/name] has a better flow than [name]Claire[/name] [name]Dow[/name], but I like the flow of [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Clara[/name] better than [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Clara[/name].

I also thought I’d mention that I love [name]Clara[/name] [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Dow[/name] and [name]Clara[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Dow[/name].

Good luck!

(I hope you’re doing well!)

Not to unsettle you, but I’d recommend a more “vintage” name for the girl, since [name]Nathaniel[/name] and [name]Micah[/name] are very patriarchal.

What about [name]Rebeka[/name]/ [name]Rebecka[/name]/ [name]Rebeca[/name]?

Perhaps even [name]Rebeka[/name] Eleonor?

When I saw the title of this post, I was going to suggest [name]Julianna[/name] as a good twin name to match [name]Nathaniel[/name], so my vote is for [name]Juliet[/name] if it’s between these two ([name]Juliet[/name] + [name]Vivienne[/name]).
I like how [name]Clara[/name] matches [name]Micah[/name], syllable for syllable. I also think I like 2 syllables better with your one-syllable last name, but [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Clara[/name] are both gorgeous, so it’s a toss-up!

Good luck with your new brood!

I voted for [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Dow[/name] since [name]Vivian[/name] and [name]Clara[/name] are two of my favorite names. [name]Clara[/name] [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Dow[/name] is lovely, too!

Thanks everyone for voting and for your comments!

Someone suggested [name]Rebecca[/name] - a name that I love – that’s unfortunatly already taken by my one of my husband’s many cousins!

Also, just found out that my mother is uncomfortable with me using [name]Clara[/name] as the mn as she had a tense relationship with her mother-in-law [name]Clara[/name] (She said that she’s OK with [name]Claire[/name] though). Thankfully, she got the courage to tell me BEFORE they were born!!!
So, if there’s another C name that would work with [name]Juliet[/name] as a middle name, please let me know.

Also would consider G middle names with [name]Juliet[/name]…

The only ones i can think of are:

[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name] (which to me sounds like [name]Julius[/name] [name]Ceasar[/name]!)

[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Cecily[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Celeste[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Celia[/name]

While [name]Juliet[/name] is beautiful, I think [name]Vivian[/name] flows better with [name]Dow[/name], and ties in nicely with siblings [name]Nathaniel[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name] (they all have N sounds).

I prefer a two-syllable mn with [name]Vivian[/name]. As [name]Clara[/name] is out, how about :
Carme (KAR-me)
[name]Keira[/name] ([name]KEER[/name]-a).

I also think [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name] or [name]Cecily[/name] works well.

Good luck!

C names with [name]Juliet[/name]:

[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Camille[/name] [name]Dow[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Cecile[/name] [name]Dow[/name]

Like Twinkle said, I, too, think a middle with two syllables sounds great!

Good luck!

I really like [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Dow[/name], very pretty!

I chose [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Claire[/name], it’s a gorgeous name!

I might be the only one, but I don’t personally think [name]Vivian[/name] or [name]Juliet[/name] are ideal with [name]Nathaniel[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name]. I’d personally use [name]Julia[/name], as it has a more classic feel to it than [name]Juliet[/name] and [name]Vivian[/name].

[name]Eleanor[/name] ----- [name]Dow[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Micah[/name] [name]Dow[/name]
[name]Julia[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Dow[/name]

[name]Caroline[/name] is like [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Clara[/name], but has more substance for your longer last name. Best of luck!

For you consideration. To go with [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Micah[/name]. [name]Vanessa[/name] [name]Myla[/name] or [name]Vanessa[/name] [name]Mia[/name]

[name]Lemon[/name], you bring up an interesting point. I agree that [name]Juliet[/name] is a little different than [name]Nathaniel[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name]. Trouble is that it’s the one of the few names my husband and I can agree on. I do really like [name]Caroline[/name] and perhaps we should move that into first position and find a different mn for her. (At one time, we were considering [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Catherine[/name] as first names although [name]Catherine[/name] was quickly tossed because of the [name]Cate[/name] and [name]Nate[/name] potential)
If we did a “C” first name than I would probably try to get a “G” mn after my other grandmother. So something like:
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Greer[/name] [name]Dow[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Greer[/name] [name]Dow[/name]
or other G mn

I love both [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] as first names! Beautiful, simple, and elegant - perfect with [name]Nathaniel[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name]! I prefer [name]Caroline[/name]'s nicknames ([name]Cara[/name], [name]Carrie[/name], [name]Lina[/name]) to [name]Charlotte[/name]'s ([name]Charlie[/name], [name]Lottie[/name]), but if it were me, I probably wouldn’t use a nickname too often…

I really like [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Dow[/name], but if that is too long for you, [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Dow[/name] is very classy and sophisticated! For [name]Charlotte[/name], my favorites are [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Dow[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Dow[/name]…

(As a side note, two of my favorite names for future children are [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eliza[/name] and [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]James[/name]!)

I had to go with [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Claire[/name], since that’s one of the names we’re considering ourselves. ([name]Claire[/name] is my middle name.) And we’re considering [name]Nathaniel[/name], as well, so it seems we have similar taste in names…

Ohhh I like [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name]. I think I like [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Dow[/name] better, because [name]Caroline[/name] is longer than [name]Charlotte[/name]. Although if you had [name]Charlotte[/name] then a 3 syllable middle name, it would work, because it would be 2-3-1, and [name]Caroline[/name] would work with a 2 syllable middle name, so it would be 3-2-1. Cute!
