I just got a random Twitter follow request from someone named Moreila. I thought it was strange to have a completely random person try to follow me, but I digress.
I’m sort of intrigued by the name Moreila. The name [name]Leila[/name] is pretty popular, so the “eila” ending seems workable, but I’m not sure about the beginning. Maybe a mashup of [name]Leila[/name] and…[name]Morgan[/name]?
So is it pronounced mor-AY-luh? mor-EEE-luh? mor-EYE-luh? mor-[name]ELL[/name]-uh? It is interesting, but the pronunciation confusion would bother me. I do like the way it looks written out, though.
Ha ha ha ha ha!!! This took me [name]WAY[/name] too long to get, but when I did, I laughed out loud. Yeah, I’m wondering how it’s pronounced. If it’s mor-AY-la, I feel like it’s missing another i – mor-AY-lia sounds much better to my ear.
That makes me think of an eel for some reason. Is Moralia a name? The more I think about that, I’m starting to love the sound of it. I couldn’t use it if I made it up, though.
The power of social networking
A friend of a friend on Facebook is called Anixi which intrigued me. This person was female but the name seems to be male…so I’ll keep researching. It’s interesting looking at the friends of friends names
