I’ve been seeing this around lately and quite like it, I usually wouldn’t give it much thought but after seeing it in some particularly charming combos [name_f]Strawberry[/name_f] has piqued my interest (mainly as a mn)! So I’ve got a few questions for you all!!
What are your opinions on the name [name_f]Strawberry[/name_f]?
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it leans feminine or could be neutral?
What combos would you put [name_f]Strawberry[/name_f] in?
[name_f]Strawberry[/name_f] is very sweet and cutesy to me, i personally wouldn’t use it, I’m not sure how well it would work on an adult. I do think it’s cool as a nickname or pen name. It feels more feminine to me but it could be neutral.
[name_f]Strawberry[/name_f] is pretty cute and charming - maybe a bit sweet for me, and one that I’d put in the middle personally! I’d say it leaned more fem, but there’s no reason it couldn’t be neutral.
A little too sickly sweet for me as a name, it makes me think of the [name_f]Strawberry[/name_f] Shortcake character it’s one of those that would definitely seem adorable on a little kid but would I want it as part of my name as a 30yo, probably not.
[name_f]My[/name_f] mum’s friend liked the name [name_f]Strawberry[/name_f] but thought that her daughter might outgrow it. They ended up naming her [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] but call her Stawb or Stawberry as a nickname!
[name_u]Or[/name_u] of course, use it as a middle name!
I think strawberry as more a feminine name, perhaps its the -erry ending? It makes me think of names like [name_f]Cherry[/name_f], which I also think as feminine.
[name_f]Strawberry[/name_f] is really cottagecore, sweet and beautiful.
It is feminine to me, but could be used for boys as well. I would keep it as a middle for both genders though.
It’s quite cutesy but possibly usable in the middle. I think it leans feminine but could be used for anyone (I prefer it on a boy I think). I had a character called Rue Cecilia Strawberry a while back.
I would never use it in a person’s name–to me, it would be like naming a child [name_u]Pumpkin[/name_u] Pie or something lol. It reminds me of the character [name_f]Strawberry[/name_f] Shortcake. On a pet, I would absolutely use it!
Me neither, but I saw it in a few masculine combos in the polls (I was shocked by [name_u]Will[/name_u] [name_f]Strawberry[/name_f] though not necessarily in a bad way) and wanted to see what others thought- I personally would not use it on a child but would definitely on a character
I find [name_f]Strawberry[/name_f] too saccharine for a name. It’s so very cutesy. I wouldn’t use it personally, and I’m not a fan, but I s’pose I’d pair it with a first name that’s also flouncy so as to not make either stand out.
