We’re expecting a baby girl in [name]October[/name], sister to 2 year old [name]Wilder[/name]. So far, we like [name]Eva[/name] for a first name, but are having a hard time with the middle name. We like [name]Eva[/name] [name]Fae[/name] (my middle name), but are worried about the double three syllables but prefer the more unique spelling. We also like [name]Eva[/name] [name]Marlow[/name] (love the literary connections and the middle name starting with “M”); does this one sound more mature for when she is older?
I would love thoughts on the two names above ([name]Eva[/name] [name]Marlow[/name] and [name]Eva[/name] [name]Fae[/name]) and suggestions of other strong, artistic middle names that would go along with [name]Eva[/name].
I immediately thought of [name]Eva[/name] [name]Corliss[/name]. Something a bit more out there, but still has a pretty sound with familiar syllables.
[name]Eva[/name] [name]Fae[/name] is alright…the name is just so short though! I would go with something a little bit longer.
[name]Eva[/name] [name]Marlow[/name] is better than [name]Eva[/name] [name]Fae[/name] in my opinion, because there’s more name and its more creative. However, I’m not a fan of [name]Marlow[/name], I think it has such a harsh sound. The letters that make up [name]Marlow[/name] make me think of [name]Meadow[/name] though. [name]Eva[/name] [name]Meadow[/name]…not bad :).
I love [name]Eva[/name] [name]Fae[/name]. It’s very pretty and sort of whimsical.
I don’t like [name]Eva[/name] [name]Marlow[/name] because All I think of if [name]Christopher[/name] [name]Marlowe[/name], who is a man, so it’s very masculine to me.
