We are moving next door to an elementary school and I found out there are alot of Kaias, my daughters name. So now I want to stay away from trendy, and I’m bringing out other favorites.
[name]Penelope[/name]- is by far my favorite and the most popular one, but less worried if she goes by [name]Poppy[/name].
[name]Sloane[/name]- I’ve seen this pop up more and more
[name]Imogen[/name]
[name]Maeve[/name] or [name]Esme[/name]
[name]Willa[/name]
[name]Blythe[/name]
My girls have cute dark blonde little bobs and are extremely spirited, if that helps with the names.
[name]Penelope[/name]- great-sounding name, classic and even a little sexy. [name]Poppy[/name] is cute. I’m a sucker for [name]Penny[/name] myself.
[name]Sloane[/name]- I strongly dislike this one. Sounds slow, slimy, and weasely to me. Sorry!
[name]Imogen[/name]- a very classic name, but edgy at the same time. It doesn’t tug at my heartstrings, but I think it’s quite elegant.
[name]Maeve[/name]- daring, Irish, mad queen charging down the stormy beach kind of name. I like it.
[name]Esme[/name]- It’s an odd one - first and second syllables equally stressed, and the ZM-sound is rather exotic. It’s odd but good… I have an image of an [name]Esme[/name] looking like an illustration in an [name]Edward[/name] Gorey book - thin, glamorous, strange, maybe she has a pet lizard or something.
[name]Willa[/name]- [name]Willa[/name] is wild and free sounding, yet dry in a certain way, like wheat fields. Quite nice. I prefer [name]Wylda[/name].
[name]Blythe[/name]- Has a [name]Golden[/name] Girls feeling to me, but once I get past that first association, the name sounds joyful and light.
[name]Penelope[/name] is nms at all, I don’t really see the appeal. I do think this might catch on a bit due to [name]Kourtney[/name] Kardashian’s daughter.
[name]Sloane[/name] is a very negative seeming name to me. I can see why it’s liked, but I can’t get behind it.
[name]Imogen[/name] is a bit of a…bothersome name to me. Not a fan.
[name]Maeve[/name] is nice. [name]Esme[/name] is okay.
[name]Willa[/name] I really like.
[name]Blythe[/name] I see no appeal.
The way you describe your girls, I think [name]Esme[/name] and [name]Imogen[/name] are perfect. I also love [name]Blythe[/name]! Not a fan of the others.
I love [name]Imogen[/name], [name]Maeve[/name] and [name]Blythe[/name] as first names! [name]Penelope[/name] seems pretty trendy, and although it’s lovely I do think it will shoot up more with the Kardashian association so prepare for her to be sharing her name.
[name]Tess[/name], [name]Kaia[/name], [name]Jasper[/name] & [name]Imogen[/name] seems perfect to me. [name]Imogen[/name] [name]Blythe[/name], [name]Imogen[/name] [name]Willa[/name] or [name]Imogen[/name] [name]Penelope[/name] would be super cute.
[name]Penelope[/name] - Rather popular. Very beautiful though. Dislike [name]Poppy[/name], though, sorry. I like [name]Penny[/name] or [name]Nell[/name] though.
[name]Imogen[/name] - Extremely nice, on my own list but can’t get husband to consider it.
[name]Maeve[/name] - Pretty, and not overused. A bit of a dreamy sound.
[name]Esme[/name] - I love this. And I also love [name]Esmeralda[/name] but that’s more of a guilty pleasure than easy to wear.
[name]Willa[/name] - Vintage, but not too frilly. Could see it working well with your other names.
[name]Blythe[/name] - I really love [name]Blythe[/name].
The only name of your list I actively dislike is [name]Sloane[/name]. [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] or [name]Imogen[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] would be extremely gorgeous.
I love [name]Imogen[/name], [name]Esme[/name] and [name]Maeve[/name]. They have great sounds, character and history. I really like the idea of [name]Blythe[/name] but find it a bit difficult to say, although that may just be my Australian accent!
[name]Willa[/name] for me is coloured by a mean lecturer that I had with this name - so I can’t give an unbiased opinion!
I’m not really a fan of [name]Penelope[/name]. I think it may become quite popular, and I just don’t like it’s sound!
I hate [name]Sloane[/name] - if you want to stay away from trendy, I would step away from this one.
I [name]ADORE[/name] [name]Penelope[/name], but it IS climbing up the popularity charts pretty quickly.
[name]Imogen[/name] - [name]Lovely[/name] choice - kind of quirky and off beat.
[name]Maeve[/name] or [name]Esme[/name] - I prefer [name]Esme[/name], but either one would be striking and pretty.
[name]Willa[/name] - I like this, but i always feel like my momma (whose from [name]Jersey[/name]) saying [name]Willow[/name], but that’s probably just me, lol.
[name]Blythe[/name] - I used to really dislike this, but I’ve been warming up to it lately. I think [name]Kaia[/name] and [name]Blythe[/name] would be a wonderful sibset and [name]Blythe[/name] is not popular at all, so you don’t have to worry about that.
[name]Penelope[/name] is my fave from your list, although I fear the Kardashians have ruined the use of a great name. I love [name]Poppy[/name] as its nn too.
[name]Imogen[/name] is pretty but Americans tend to mispronounce it ([name]Imo[/name]-[name]JEAN[/name]) in a way that’s not as pretty as it is.
[name]Willa[/name] would be my pick for you, as I think it’s a nice sibset with [name]Kaia[/name].
i like maeve for you - i really like it best of the list. penelope is nice but if you are worried about trendy i would not use it due ot tina fey and kourtney kardashian using it. sloane i do not like at all and the others are just nms
[name]Penelope[/name] - if this isn’t already trendy, I can definitely seeing this one rise up in popularity. Personally, it’s NMS, but to each their own.
[name]Sloane[/name] - Oh, I don’t like this one at all. Makes me think of [name]Sloane[/name] Rangers and the like.
[name]Imogen[/name] - Oh, I like this one, but I have pronunciation issues with it. I like the sound of [name]Imogene[/name] better but the look of [name]Imogen[/name] better.
[name]Maeve[/name] - I can definitely see this one get trendy soon. I’m surprised it’s only in the 500s range!
[name]Willa[/name] - I kind of like it; vintage but not stuffy, fresh but not overtly modern.
[name]Blythe[/name] - very poetic sounding. I like it as a middle name, but wouldn’t mind seeing it as a first name on someone else’s child.
[name]Penelope[/name]- love how sweet and spunky she is
[name]Imogen[/name]- love its posh British charm
[name]Maeve[/name]- spirited and dramatic
[name]Willa[/name]- sweet but a bit nicknamey
[name]Blythe[/name]- just doesn’t seem very feminine
[name]Sloane[/name]- the “sl” makes it feel slimy, and rhyming with “moan” makes it feel whiny to me. sorry
[name]Esme[/name]- makes me think of a witch for some reason…
[name]Penelope[/name]- my fav!
[name]Sloane[/name]- um, it is ok.
[name]Imogen[/name] - hate
[name]Maeve[/name] or [name]Esme[/name] - I like [name]Maeve[/name]
[name]Willa[/name] - nah
[name]Blythe[/name] - nah
