Some suggestions please? This is driving me insane and if im honest making me feel depressed.
[name_u]Baby[/name_u] #3 is now 2 and a half weeks old, and still nameless It’s not for a lack of suggestions, partner and I just can’t agree and dislike eachothers names. Partner seems set on a nordic name (both older children have nordic name origins) but everything he likes sounds too harsh or difficult to say/spell.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites are [name_u]Sage[/name_u], Enver, [name_m]Evander[/name_m], [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u], and [name_m]Viggo[/name_m].
Those first weeks (and months) of a new baby are usually utterly draining to say the least, and make decision-making really tough. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] it all gets easier soon - you have some time still.
As for the names you have listed, I like [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u], [name_m]Evander[/name_m] & [name_m]Viggo[/name_m]. I prefer [name_u]Sage[/name_u] as a middle and even then I find it a bit harsh/ broad sounding and wouldn’t use it myself. Enver seems likely to trip up people on pronunciation and I wouldn’t want [name_f]Envy[/name_f] as a possible nickname.
Here are some other (incl Nordic) suggestions:
[name_m]Stellan[/name_m] (a Nordic Sullivan?)
[name_m]Felix[/name_m]
[name_m]Gustav[/name_m]
[name_m]Johan[/name_m] (so handsome!)
[name_m]Jesper[/name_m] (love!)
[name_m]Conrad[/name_m]
[name_m]Casper[/name_m] / [name_m]Kasper[/name_m]
[name_m]Soren[/name_m]
[name_u]Roscoe[/name_u]
[name_m]Otis[/name_m]
[name_m]Otto[/name_m]
[name_u]Evren[/name_u] (as an alternative to Enver)
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]
[name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] (Sebastian & [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] are my long term boy name loves)
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] / [name_u]Tobin[/name_u] (nn Toby)
[name_m]Wilfred[/name_m]
[name_m]Bramwell[/name_m]
[name_m]Benedict[/name_m]
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]
[name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]
[name_m]Stafford[/name_m]
[name_u]Callahan[/name_u]
[name_u]Calloway[/name_u]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u]
[name_u]Emrys[/name_u]
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps! I would use all the names I’ve listed (except [name_u]Orion[/name_u] might be a bit out of my comfort zone). If I’m way off mark, might be worth sharing the other kids’ names - even if names that are similar to them instead or typed in c0de if more comfortable/safer? Unless you’re not fussed on a cohesive set.
Not sure if you’ve already chosen something but if not don’t stress and don’t get pressured into using a Nordic name unless you love it. Choose something that is meaningful for you. Perhaps you would like to reflect some of your heritage? People can wait for the name. You can also tell them you’re trialling one before you complete the paperwork to be sure. Suggestions: [name_u]Callum[/name_u], [name_m]Cassian[/name_m], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_u]Evan[/name_u], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m].
