[name_f]My[/name_f] husband’s beloved 101 year old grandmother [name_f]Vera[/name_f] recently passed away. His family is Jewish and typically honors the most recently deceased family member with a name tribute when the next baby is born in the family. I’m having a very hard time finding V names that I like.
Any suggestions on other ways we could honor the name [name_f]Vera[/name_f] without picking a name like [name_m]Victor[/name_m], [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] or [name_u]Vern[/name_u]? I feel like many male V names are really old-fashioned and not my style. To be clear this is for a middle name and not for his first name.
More modern-feeling V boys’ names that haven’t been suggested yet…
[name_m]Vance[/name_m]
[name_m]Valentin[/name_m]
[name_u]Van[/name_u]
[name_m]Vin[/name_m] / [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u]
[name_m]Vulcan[/name_m]
It wouldn’t be traditional but maybe you and your husband would be open to something something like [name_u]Ever[/name_u] or [name_u]Avery[/name_u] that shares the ‘ver’ letters?
[name_u]Or[/name_u], did [name_f]Vera[/name_f] have a middle name with a different first initial you could use instead? [name_u]Or[/name_u] a Hebrew name that you could use for inspiration?
This is actually so unique and novel and I never thought of it! [name_u]Avery[/name_u] is a very interesting choice and is almost an anagram for [name_f]Vera[/name_f]. [name_u]Super[/name_u] interesting… Thank you for the food for thought!
