Often they mean well but they make comments based on their personal likes and dislikes and it can end up shaking our confidence in our choices, as observed by many who have posted on Nameberry. [name_m]Don[/name_m]’t worry about how other people are responding. People respond differently before the baby (or babies) is born compared to after. Besides they are your daughters and not theirs!!

[name_u]Love[/name_u] them together! [name_m]Don[/name_m]’t let family and friends sway you from names you love. People love to have their opinions (often in poor taste) before the babies are here- once they are named, they’ll love whatever you choose because they’ll love your babies! My [name_f]MIL[/name_f] is notorious for this. When we announced (not asking for suggestions, mind you) our first son’s name, she said “well, you have time to change your mind”!!! She couldn’t figure out why we wouldn’t tel her our second son’s name until he was born!
