We are going to be having a little girl but are stuck between 2 names. Her middle name will be [name_f]Christine[/name_f] after someone that was a very big part in my life growing up. we are stuck when it comes to a first name though. The names we are stuck between are [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] which would give her the nickname [name_u]Sam[/name_u]. the other name is Jadelyn (it’s unique and not very common but I like it) which would have the nickname [name_f]Jade[/name_f].
So the 2 options are:
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f]
Or
Jadelyn [name_f]Christine[/name_f]
I like both names but I think Jadelyn might be a bit confusing since it is basically a combination of [name_f]Jade[/name_f] + [name_u]Lyn[/name_u], and there are so many other names that start with “[name_u]Jay[/name_u]” and end with “[name_u]Lyn[/name_u]”. Also, [name_f]Christine[/name_f] and Jadelyn both end in an “n” sound so it doesn’t flow so well. So I would go with [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f].
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f] definitely flows the best. I prefer [name_f]Jade[/name_f] or [name_f]Jada[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f] is beautiful! I really dislike Jadelyn. It is very awkward to to say and is very trendy with the “lyn” ending. [name_f]Jade[/name_f] or [name_f]Jada[/name_f] are both pretty. I still say [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] is the winner here.
Jadelyn is so pretty and unique! It looks similar to other names, but I think the nickname [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is so underused/underappreciated
I do like [name_u]Sam[/name_u], but I’m not a fan of [name_f]Samantha[/name_f].
Go with Jadelyn!
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f], by far! [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] is cute, spunky, just the right amount of classic and modern. Jadelyn lacks the character, and frankly, isn’t unique amongst the plethora of girls named [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f], [name_f]Kaitlyn[/name_f], and [name_f]Jaelyn[/name_f]. -[name_u]Lyn[/name_u] is the -dan of boys (see: [name_u]Aidan[/name_u], [name_u]Brayden[/name_u], [name_m]Caden[/name_m]). [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] all the way!
One thing to think about is, does the name age well? Jadelyn is cutesy and works on a little kid, but I can’t really picture an 80 year with that name. [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] is classic and works for girls of all ages.
I really don’t like Jadelyn. I prefer [name_f]Jada[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f].
I find [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f] to be a little long together. I’d pick a shorter, one syllable middle name to go with [name_f]Samantha[/name_f]. ([name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Gwen[/name_f], [name_f]Brynn[/name_f], [name_u]Lynn[/name_u], etc)
From those, I’d say [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f], but I agree with [name_f]Erin[/name_f] that [name_f]Jada[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f] would be lovely.
