Stuck between names

We are between [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] for our daughter’s name, but can’t decide for sure. And actually, my husband has now introduced [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] into the mix as well. Our son is named [name_m]Preston[/name_m].

I like all three options, and the idea of two P names is cool. However, I really wanted a name that came across as very pretty and elegant. [name_u]Peyton[/name_u], to me, seems more fun and playful. [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] is kind of a blend to me, pretty but also unique and could be cool? [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] to me is the prettiest, but my husband feels it reads too old and we can’t agree on nicknames (he likes [name_f]Evie[/name_f], I like Ev or [name_f]Evvie[/name_f]).

I’m also not certain we wouldn’t have a third child, and I want to avoid having to come up with another P name if that does happen. I would actually want to use the name [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] for a boy and probably whichever girl name we don’t use this time.

Our last name is terrible to go with anything girly (one syllable FYI) so I feel like we might as well disregard what her full name sounds like together and just pick a first name that we love. I need help deciding though!

[name_m]Preston[/name_m] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] make a fantastic sibling set. [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is gorgeous.

[name_u]Peyton[/name_u] is too close to [name_m]Preston[/name_m] in my opinion and [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] has the same ending. I would avoid that. [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is the one I like the most. So feminine and classic. Gorgeous name to go with brother [name_m]Preston[/name_m].

[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is my favorite, I don’t think there should be disagreement over nickname since [name_f]Evie[/name_f] and [name_f]Evvie[/name_f] are close to each other anyways there is only one letter difference.

Definitely go with [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. I think [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] (not to mention [name_u]Peyton[/name_u]) is way too similar to [name_m]Preston[/name_m]. [name_m]Preston[/name_m] and [name_f]Evie[/name_f] sound great together!

[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is perfect! [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] and [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] are too trendy/masculine with the classics [name_m]Preston[/name_m].

Another vote for [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]! She can always have more than one nickname
