Thoughts on Lottie or Nora?
I really like both but having a hard time deciding. I feel like Nora is becoming pretty common and I’m afraid people will think Lottie’s too odd? ![]()
Definitely Lottie!!!I personally find Nora terrible!
As a full name I prefer [name_f]Nora[/name_f]. [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is a cute nickname to me
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] are both nice. [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] doesn’t seem odd, though I usually think of it as a nn for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Norah[/name_f] with an H, but both are nice.
Definitely [name_f]Nora[/name_f] for me! It’s such a sweet name, has a great literary namesake (Nora by [name_m]Henrik[/name_m] Ibsen), and can work on any age and in many languages!
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]! [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is to nicknamey for me
I’m not sure where you live, but in the UK neither [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] or [name_f]Nora[/name_f] are “odd”.
I love both names, but prefer [name_f]Norah[/name_f] (spelt like this).
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]!
I love [name_f]Nora[/name_f]! If popularity bothers you, [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is a great option though. I think it can stand alone just fine
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is my favourite. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is getting pretty common, but I think [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is vintage and ready for a comeback
I love Lottie!!
I prefer [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as a full name!
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is my favourite.
Personally I think [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is really upbeat, friendly and vibrant. She feels sweet and has a nice vintage flair definitely fits in with [name_f]Nell[/name_f] & [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. I honestly do not think people will find [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] odd she’s very familiar she may be asked if her full name is [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] but I think that depends if nickname names are popular where you are. Where I am (England) everyone loves a nickname so I don’t think that would be asked regularly also that is easily corrected. Anyways massive fan of [name_f]Lottie[/name_f]! I also really like [name_f]Libby[/name_f]
I prefer [name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] has (sadly) become pretty popular, but she still gets my vote
Such a lovely and quiet name! [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] isn’t for me personally, although I don’t find it old, really
Ooh [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is lovely! Cute but sophisticated
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] all the way!
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] for sure! Pretty, sweet, cheeky, lovely. Not odd in the slightest
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] is blah and boring to me.
I have a slight preference for [name_f]Nora[/name_f] (and love the [name_f]Norah[/name_f] spelling), but both are so lovely!! I know of a baby [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] born recently and have only heard sweet comments on her name
(in the US for reference!)
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]? Then you can use both
