Stuck for the 3rd time, on DD #3

We are expecting baby girl #3 in 4 short weeks and are stuck on names. Nothing new for us! We have a boys name we totally agree on all picked out and it doesn’t look like we’ll ever get to use it. Figures!
First two are [name]Aliyah[/name] [name]Lorain[/name] and Mylaina (My-lay-nuh, but we mostly call her [name]Lainey[/name]) [name]Lynn[/name]. Middle names are family names. DH and I both have slightly unusual first names and our last name is super common and starts with an M. Tons and tons of girls in our family (close and extended). I’m a teacher so many names give me an eye twitch reminding me of certain students, or are just names I’ve seen a million times and don’t want to repeat. And of course DD #1 is at the age where “It can’t be [name]Isla[/name], she is at my school. It can’t rhyme with [name]Isaiah[/name], he is my friend.” etc.

So, we want something special and not uber common or traditional (i.e. [name]Anna[/name]) but have hit a wall. DH named DD#1 and did nothing but poo-poo my list with DD#2 and now #3. My list for #3 as of now (changes daily!):

[name]Liliana[/name]
[name]Iris[/name]
[name]Isis[/name]
Taylah or [name]Taya[/name]
[name]Eliana[/name]
[name]Ariella[/name]
[name]Celeste[/name]
[name]Tia[/name]
[name]Lark[/name]

Family names we could incorporate, but don’t have to, are: Icylin, [name]Campbell[/name], [name]Camille[/name], [name]Neil[/name]

Any suggestions appreciated!

I absolutely love [name]Liliana[/name]! [name]Iris[/name] is great, too. I love [name]Lark[/name], but I’m not sure it really fits with [name]Aliyah[/name] and Mylaina. I think [name]Aliyah[/name], Mylaina, and [name]Liliana[/name] works great, though. [name]Liliana[/name] [name]Camille[/name] would be gorgeous!

Good luck!

[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Tia[/name] [name]Camille[/name] and [name]Ariella[/name] [name]Camille[/name]!

[name]Liliana[/name] is my favorite from your list and I think it fits best with your other daughters’ names.

I didn’t read the other responses, so sorry if I repeat any.

From your list I like [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Lark[/name].

[name]Liliana[/name] is perfect! I like [name]Eliana[/name], [name]Ariella[/name], [name]Celeste[/name] as well.

I think [name]Ariella[/name] sounds lovely with your other two daughter’s names. It’s special and unique, but not too strange.

Thanks for the feedback on my list and for more suggestions! Some of my absolute fav’s are on the suggestions but we can’t use because they are too close/the same as girls we know already. I’ll probably be back after running by DH, but this helps so much.

I like [name]Liliana[/name] the best-great name! I am a teacher too and know how hard it can be at times. Best of luck!

i think tia may be too rhymes with aliyah? and eliana seems like a combination of aliyah and mylaina - which could be good or bad depending on what you want. since your first two have 3 syllable names do you want to stick to that? just a thought… i like taylah bc it has the y and ends in the a sound. lilliana is nice too.

YOu are right about [name]Tia[/name] rhyming. Not sure how I missed that. [name]One[/name] of my favorites is [name]Thalia[/name] but I crossed it off as too similar. I really like [name]Liliana[/name], but [name]Lily[/name] is so popular I’m not sure I’d want people calling her that (maybe [name]Lana[/name] instead, but then that is so close to [name]Lainey[/name])…my family will call her [name]Lily[/name] even if I ask them not to. [name]Aliyah[/name] is [name]Leah[/name] to my mom, even though she likes to be called [name]Aliyah[/name] and was correcting a girl on the playground. My mom interrupted and said “oh, we call her [name]Leah[/name]” oy!

[name]How[/name] do you all pronounce [name]Ariella[/name]? I think of it as Are-ee-[name]Ella[/name], not air-ee-[name]Ella[/name], and like it better with the ar sound. I think it’s the reading teacher in me sticking with phonics, lol. [name]Aliyah[/name]'s name not being phonetic kind of bugs me sometimes. Ha.
