My wife and I had no trouble agreeing on the name [name_f]Willow[/name_f] for our baby girl. She chose the first name, so I get to choose the middle name (as long as we both like it). We’re hitting a wall with middle names though. Our favorites so far are:
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Muse[/name_f]
Which sounds best?
We liked [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but feel it is way too common as a middle name.
I’d avoid pairing another nature/word name with [name_f]Willow[/name_f] as that takes you into [name_u]Blue[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] territory/makes it sound like you’re describing a garden. For that reason, I’d pick [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f], which happens to sound beautiful and flow very well!
Other ideas to avoid double word names: [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Musetta[/name_f] or [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Viola[/name_f]
I agree with this. [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] sounds like a type of wren that lives in willows, not unlike the common House [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Muse[/name_f] sounds like a title, like a muse for Willows. The other floral options sounds to much like describing / listing species in a garden.
This makes me want to go with [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f], which actually is darling and sounds great!
I have a [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Cadence[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_u]Kay[/name_u] and [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u].
Another for [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f].
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is a little bit of a tongue twister for me. [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] frankly sounds very hippie-dippie. [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] would be my second choice. And [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Muse[/name_f] sounds like the name of a bad 90s rock band.
