Stuck on A Name for A Fourth Girl!

We’re expecting our fifth baby in [name_f]July[/name_f] and we are waiting to find out the gender. We have a boy name picked out but we are stuck on a girl name. Our children’s names are [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_f]Kira[/name_f], and [name_u]Ray/name_u.
If we have a boy we’re naming him [name_u]Perrin[/name_u]. [name_m]Crichton[/name_m] is my favorite boy name after that one but my husband doesn’t like C-ton names.
For our girls - We like two syllable or less names though there are a few three syllable that do appeal to us. I like that their names all have visual and phonetic similarities and I’d like to keep that trend. I also would like to not double up on first letters and I’m attracted to names that end in “a” but since we already have two we’re trying to find alternatives. We are going out of our way to avoid names in the top 100 since our first two are pretty high up. We love names with meaning. Literary characters especially. We like our names to have personal meaning for us and we’ve kinda run out of names like that. Which is why we’re having the problem. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] from the movie [name_u]Legend[/name_u] (the spelling is different), [name_f]Kira[/name_f] from The Dark [name_f]Crystal[/name_f], [name_m]Rayford[/name_m] is my father’s name, [name_f]Bella[/name_f] is [name_f]Bella[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] which can be translated “beautiful gospel”. A few names we’ve bounced around are:

[name_f]Nixie[/name_f] - This was our original pick but the more I think about it the more I think it’s a little too different to fit with our other names
[name_f]Adela[/name_f] (a-[name_u]DELL[/name_u]-ah) - currently our favorite and an exception to the two syllable rule
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] - [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite but it begins with an “L” and with our last name’s first syllable it sounds like la te dah
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - [name_f]My[/name_f] new niece is named this so I’m politely removing it from my list. But I still love it. (But not [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f])
[name_f]Fae[/name_f] - But we’d have [name_u]Ray[/name_u] and [name_f]Fae[/name_f]. I think it sounds like a mom and pop shop
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] - I love this one but I’ve only ever heard it on two people so it’s hard for me to imagine it if that makes sense
[name_f]Gwen[/name_f] - We waver on how much we like this one
And without explanation
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_f]Mina[/name_f]
[name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_f]Mora[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]

I hope this wasn’t too long. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

[name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_f]Kira[/name_f], [name_u]Ray/name_u, and:

[name_f]Aura[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Asha[/name_f] ( awsha ), [name_f]Dawn[/name_f], [name_f]Freya[/name_f], [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u], [name_u]Gwynn[/name_u], [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f], [name_f]Heidi[/name_f], [name_u]Haven[/name_u]

[name_f]Astrid[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]( [name_f]Inga[/name_f] is a cute nn ), [name_u]Josie[/name_u], [name_f]Joy[/name_f], [name_u]Joyce[/name_u], [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Neve[/name_f], [name_f]Nola[/name_f]

[name_f]Opal[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_u]Simone[/name_u], [name_f]Tasha[/name_f], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], [name_f]Sally[/name_f], [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], [name_f]Zara[/name_f]

Congrats! Your children have really nice names! I do like [name_f]Molly[/name_f] with your sib set… Other ideas…

[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Vera[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Margo[/name_f]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]
[name_f]Nina[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Helen[/name_f]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]

[name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_f]Kira[/name_f], and [name_u]Ray[/name_u].

[name_f]Nixie[/name_f] - I agree that this does not really fit with sibs.
[name_f]Adela[/name_f] (a-[name_u]DELL[/name_u]-ah) - this is way too close to [name_f]Bella[/name_f] for me.
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] - cute but I’d choose a unique initial personally.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - beautiful, doesn’t really fit anyway.
[name_f]Fae[/name_f] - Yep, rhymes with [name_u]Ray[/name_u].
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] - too close to [name_f]Lily[/name_f].
[name_f]Gwen[/name_f] - I love this, but if you don’t, take it off the list.

[name_f]Aria[/name_f] - similar to [name_f]Kira[/name_f].
[name_f]Mina[/name_f] - I like this! Would like [name_f]Nina[/name_f] too.
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] - similar to [name_f]Lily[/name_f].
[name_f]Mora[/name_f] / [name_f]Nora[/name_f] - similar to [name_f]Kira[/name_f].

Sorry for the tough love, but the ones I think work with sibset are [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] and [name_f]Mina[/name_f] or [name_f]Nina[/name_f]. Good luck!

Congrats! [name_u]Perrin[/name_u] is great. [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_f]Kira[/name_f], [name_u]Ray[/name_u], and…

[name_f]Nixie[/name_f] - it’s okay but seems a little hard-edged. [name_u]Maxie[/name_u] works for me, though.
[name_f]Adela[/name_f] - rhymes with [name_f]Bella[/name_f], but it is a great name. Most of the other [name_m]Ad[/name_m]- names I can think of ([name_f]Adeline[/name_f], [name_f]Adelina[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]) feel too long compared to your short-and-sweet girls
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] - HUGE fan of [name_f]Lottie[/name_f], always have been. Other names with this feel - if you want to give L a rest - are [name_f]Maggie[/name_f], [name_f]Millie[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Hattie[/name_f], [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], [name_f]Betsy[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Nancy[/name_f] - all of those comfy old-fashioned nicknames. I like the idea of using these names (or [name_f]Molly[/name_f], more on that later) so that the short, ends in -y [name_f]Lily[/name_f] has a “buddy” as do the short, ends in -a [name_f]Bella[/name_f] and [name_f]Kira[/name_f] – so that [name_f]Lily[/name_f] doesn’t become the odd gal out.
[name_f]Fae[/name_f] - I adore [name_f]Faye[/name_f], but yeah, the rhyme thing… Okay, although I will also say that when you have multiple kids, that gets diluted a bit. I have a brother named [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] and a sister named [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]. As kids, they went by [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] and [name_f]Katie[/name_f]… then they got older and became [name_m]Nate[/name_m] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. There are 4 of us, and somehow nobody has ever even brought it up. Still, I’d avoid it if you have other names you love as much.
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] - [name_f]Layla[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is a bit much for me. Also, I know so many girls named [name_f]Layla[/name_f] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] in the past few years.
[name_f]Gwen[/name_f] - I adore [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f]. But if it’s not right for you, it’s not right for you.

[name_f]Aria[/name_f] - this fits okay, but doesn’t wow me.
[name_f]Mina[/name_f]/ [name_f]Mora[/name_f]/ [name_f]Nora[/name_f] - I like these little 4-letter, ends in -A names.
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] - Personal bias alert: [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Molly[/name_f] and people are always so NICE about it - it just gives people a warm, happy feeling. [name_f]My[/name_f] only caveat is that people always think you’re interested in hearing about their dog named [name_f]Molly[/name_f]. You will not be. Another plus is there are plenty of literary, film, and historical namesakes to chose from, and lots of nice old traditional songs mentioning girls named Molly. I always like to have some kind of connection to SOMETHING with a name, you know?

For you, I also like:
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Maura[/name_f]
[name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Nola[/name_f]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f]
[name_f]Ida[/name_f]
The names I listed after [name_f]Lottie[/name_f]

Thank you all for your replies! emsky, I didn’t find your “love” tough at all lol It actually confirmed a lot of my feelings towards the names in my list. It also brought up points about them I hadn’t originally considered. I think the problem with [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] is it feels heavy compared to our other names. I still love it though and I’ve bumped it up in my list. isolieth, I got the “I know dogs named [name_f]Bella[/name_f]” a lot when I first told everyone we were naming our second daughter [name_f]Bella[/name_f]. So I get that.

What about [name_f]Enora[/name_f]?

[name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_f]Kira[/name_f], [name_m]Rayford[/name_m] & [name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_f]Kira[/name_f], [name_m]Rayford[/name_m] & [name_f]Mina[/name_f]

[name_f]Adela[/name_f] would be nice but it rhymes with [name_f]Bella[/name_f] so that creates the same situation as [name_f]Fae[/name_f] / [name_u]Ray[/name_u]. Other thoughts:

[name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f]
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_f]Mia[/name_f]
[name_f]Maya[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]

Though 3 syllables, [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] would make a great match too!

[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] or [name_f]Elyse[/name_f] or [name_f]Nerys[/name_f] (rhymes with [name_f]Elyse[/name_f] and yes is a nod to [name_f]Star[/name_f] Trek DS9)

[name_f]My[/name_f] first thought was [name_f]Nina[/name_f].

[name_f]Minka[/name_f]
[name_f]Oona[/name_f]/[name_f]Una[/name_f]
[name_u]Seren[/name_u]
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f]
[name_f]Caia[/name_f]
[name_f]Hanna[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] - Since you already have a [name_f]Bella[/name_f], I suggest [name_f]Adele[/name_f] not [name_f]Adela[/name_f].
