Stuck on a name for my Evil Lord!

Ok, so I am completely and utterly stuck on the name for my very evil bad guy.

He is approx 45-50, Caucasian, shaved head. Think dark, dank castle. Whilst he is only a [name]Lord[/name], he has control of the lands surrounding and is called ‘My Liege’ by his lordlings. He is extremely cunning and sly but has bought the allegiance of his other lords whilst the people starve. He is dangerous. Kills for fun and without mercy. I suppose I’m thinking more of a surname in terms of '[name]Lord[/name] … ’ however he will called this throughout, for example, one of his Lords is ‘[name]Lord[/name] Merrick’ and then throughout will be ‘Merrick said…’ etc.

I’m a big one for meanings so have been trying to find something with a meaning of Dark, Coward, Dangerous, Evil, etc etc… didn’t manage to find anything I like bar ‘[name]Craven[/name]’ but I’m pretty sure that’s been used in something recently… and in hunting, came across this site… so hoping someone may be able to help.

Many thanks!!

For one terrifying moment, when I saw the title of this thread on the main page, I thought you were calling your child your Evil Lord.

Trying to attach a pic to give you an idea of what’s going on in my head with my mr [name]Lord[/name] of Evilness but not sure if I can get it to work… thanks!

Yay! Pic worked! And agirlinred, no I’m not calling my child my evil lord… maybe I should make it a little clearer. However, your reply did make me chuckle quite a lot! Thanks!

What about [name]Cadoc[/name]? It means “battle.”

[name]Cillian[/name] or [name]Donahue[/name] could also work. I’m not sure, I’m bad at this. I would recommend looking at some of the ancient Welsh and Celtic names for inspiration, as those tend to sound very evil.

For me and my sister, the perfect “evil character” name is [name]Mortimer[/name] Stroud. Screams evil to me. Maybe not aristocracy, but it’s dark.
