I am struggling to find an “A” name for our baby boy and need help! He will be joining sister [name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] this summer. Mom and Dad both sport an “A” name, so I feel like this baby needs to join the club so he doesn’t feel left out. I like names that are slightly different, but classic at the same time. Any suggestions?

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions! I keep seeing [name_m]Asher[/name_m] pop up…I like it! I also liked [name_u]Aden[/name_u] and [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] (shortened to [name_u]Drew[/name_u]). DH thinks [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is too common, but I like the name [name_u]Drew[/name_u]. I was drawn to [name_u]Avery[/name_u] at first too, but now I’m afraid it’s become more of a girls name. Thoughts?
Thanks again for all of the help… love these suggestions. Please send any others you can think of!
I agree I used to think of [name_u]Avery[/name_u] as a boys’ name but now I only hear for girls.
[name_m]Asher[/name_m] would be great!
I personally think [name_u]Avery[/name_u] is too feminine and I believe you could find a better fit with [name_f]Aria[/name_f]. I also think [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] “[name_u]Drew[/name_u]” is a nice name but may sound a little dated next to [name_f]Aria[/name_f].
[name_f]My[/name_f] first choice for you would be [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] “[name_m]Zander[/name_m]” because it’s both classic and different. This name goes well with [name_f]Aria[/name_f] and gives your son the “a” name without being too matchy matchy.
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m] “[name_m]Zander[/name_m]” and [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_m]Ace[/name_m] and [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] and [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_m]Asher[/name_m] and [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_u]Ashton[/name_u] and [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_u]Auden[/name_u] and [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_m]Adler[/name_m] and [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_u]August[/name_u] “[name_u]Gus[/name_u]” and [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_u]Aspen[/name_u] and [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
So many of my suggestions were already mentioned, but I’ll second [name_m]Archer[/name_m], [name_m]Axel[/name_m], [name_m]Abram[/name_m], [name_m]Abel[/name_m], [name_m]Azriel[/name_m], and [name_u]August[/name_u].

Thanks for the opinions on [name_u]Avery[/name_u] - that confirms my thoughts. Still liking [name_m]Asher[/name_m], [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_m]Austin[/name_m], too. I also like the “[name_m]Zander[/name_m]” suggestion. Hmm… lots to think about!
