My story revolves around a girl who grows up in the bad part of the city who, by chance, meets and is “adopted” by a family in the country. I have the city girl’s name, but I seem have gotten stuck on one name in the country family.
The family (in the present part of the story) -
[name]Hale[/name] - 26
Breckon - 22
[name]Gardner[/name] - 19
[name]Pierce[/name] - 17
??? - 13
Miniver “[name]Minnie[/name]” - 9
[name]Wallace[/name] - 6
The girl in question has long, dark brown wavy hair. She is tall and thin, but the only child in her family that has never suffered from being “all arms and legs”. She is sweet, fairly serious, feminine and not perky like her sister. Her name should fit with the rest, which are vaguely surname-y and southern-ish, but it must also be strictly a female name.
Some ideas - Winter? Bellamy? - ohhhhhhhhh I just can’t seem to find the right one.
Thanks for the help!
If your character is a country girl try some today names and add a little southern accent to them to make them fit into your story’s plot. Another option is to look up on nameberry some classic good names, those are usually good choices or just look up some last names for inspiration. Best of luck to you!
I really like [name]Bellamy[/name]! Maybe something surnamey with a feminine nickname, like [name]Grayson[/name] nicknamed [name]Gracie[/name]?
I thought maybe [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]? Or [name_f]Loralee[/name_f]? I love love [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_f]Loralee[/name_f]
The first name that came to mind for me was [name_u]Brooke[/name_u]. I feel like it fits right in with the other names you have chosen. I also wonder about MacKenzie/[name_f]McKenna[/name_f]/[name_u]McKinley[/name_u]. A few other ideas are [name_u]Whitney[/name_u], [name_f]Maddison[/name_f], [name_u]Piper[/name_u], [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] or [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u]. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps
I would go with [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f].
