The boy names we have are [name]Boston[/name]…which is a little out there for me but DH loves it, [name]Drew[/name] and [name]Wyatt[/name].
Our last name starts with a B. any advice or if you could rate them 1-3 or if you love or hate one please reply bc I’m super stuck! Thanks so much.
Also, middle name is set it [name]James[/name].
[name]Boston[/name]: I would advise against this name, even though it is super cool (and I really like it), I know a boy named [name]Boston[/name], and he gets made fun of. Or maybe it isn’t made fun of, but he will introduce himself to people, then when he walks away, the people will snicker and make comments like “Is his name really [name]Boston[/name]?” or “What the heck were his parents thinking?”
[name]Drew[/name]: While I love [name]Drew[/name], I like [name]Andrew[/name] more. [name]Drew[/name] [name]James[/name] doesn’t flow very well, but [name]Andrew[/name] [name]James[/name] does
[name]Wyatt[/name]: So adorable! I really love the name [name]Wyatt[/name] and [name]Wyatt[/name] [name]James[/name] is really cute
My favorite would be [name]Wyatt[/name] [name]James[/name]. I like [name]Drew[/name] as a nn for [name]Andrew[/name]. I think [name]Boston[/name] is very cool but with the last name starting with a B, it might be too much.
I do love the sound of [name]Boston[/name]. It is a super cool name and an amazing city, but like a PP said, it’ll probably cause some people to make ignorant remarks. I would definitely concern myself with that because that wouldn’t be pleasant for the child to deal with. Out of your other choices, I like [name]Drew[/name]. [name]Drew[/name] [name]James[/name] is a strong and handsome name. Good luck!
I have absolutely nothing new to add, but I figured reiteration wouldn’t hurt: [name]Boston[/name] sounds like a nn to me, not a real name; [name]Love[/name] [name]Drew[/name] as a nn for [name]Andrew[/name] and [name]Andrew[/name] [name]James[/name] sounds amazing; [name]Wyatt[/name] [name]James[/name] also sounds wonderful and is less common if that’s what you’re looking for. [name]Wyatt[/name] [name]James[/name] gets my vote! Good luck!
[name]Boston[/name]- A little out there. I don’t know if it will sound good with your last name since it starts with a B.
[name]Drew[/name]- [name]Will[/name] he be [name]Andrew[/name] with the nickname [name]Drew[/name]? I like [name]Andrew[/name] but [name]Drew[/name] on its own doesn’t sound complete.
[name]Wyatt[/name]- I like this one, I was going to choose it for my boy but I got comments that it sounded a little whiney. My problem was that I couldn’t picture it on a little boy.
I choose [name]Andrew[/name] nn [name]Drew[/name].
[name]Wyatt[/name] [name]James[/name] is easily the winner for me. It’s cute & fun but rugged & handsome.
[name]Boston[/name] is not so great here in the US at least. It’s a band & a city…neither of which are favorites of mine. If they are favorites of yours & very meaningful, [name]James[/name] [name]Boston[/name] could work. Your B last name just makes [name]Boston[/name] more silly imo. And nn [name]Boss[/name] sounds more like a condescending nickname when anyone over the age of 5 is called by it.
[name]Drew[/name] is ok. I would assume it was [name]Andrew[/name]'s nickname but it’s not the worst think I’ve heard…like how [name]Jon[/name] could be [name]Jonathan[/name] or just [name]Jon[/name] I guess. Not my favorite name though. Sort of bland.
I like [name]Drew[/name], it’s handsome but [name]Drew[/name] [name]James[/name] is nowhere as nice as [name]Wyatt[/name] [name]James[/name]. [name]Wyatt[/name] is a cool name, that’s basically unheard of in the UK.
[name]Boston[/name] isn’t a first name [name]IMO[/name], it doesn’t compare to the other two names.
