Stunningly GOOD Creative Spelling!

I just love my colleague’s very thoughtful baby names:

[name]Lynn[/name] [name]May[/name]
[name]Sue[/name] [name]Lynn[/name]

Totally normal acceptable names for where we live in Australia, everyone can spell and read them, but their mother’s Chinese family back in Singapore hear them as Chinese names that would more conventionally be spelled in the roman alphabet as [name]Lin[/name] [name]Mae[/name] and Soo [name]Lin[/name]. So many of my Chinese friends have two names, one for each culture but which often don’t work across both, I think this is an elegant and really well thought out solution. Anyone else come across any brilliant names for multinational babies?

That’s a really cool compromise for a multicultural family. Although, it’s not really creative spelling because they’re all legitimate ways of spelling those names.
