subset question:

So could you have a [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Indigo[/name_f] ([name_f]Indie[/name_f]) as sisters? Or is that far too crazy? I have asked before what would go with [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and although the suggestions ‘go’ with [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] I just don’t think they are my style. I love SPUNKY names. [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] to me has that vibe though to many nameberries it has the ‘old lady’ vibe.
I wouldn’t say I am into all names like [name_f]Indigo[/name_f] (Many nature names/colour names make me cringe)…I guess I would call my style ‘spunky’ as I can’t seem to fit into a style mould.

[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Indigo[/name_f] don’t have the same feel to me. I would expect a sister to [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] to be [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], or [name_f]Margo[/name_f].

As a person with a color name I’d give the advice I wish someone had given my mother- please don’t.

I love [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Indigo[/name_f] is alright. If you really love it, I suggest you use it. It’s definitely not a horrible name!

I think [name_f]India[/name_f] would work better with [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] than [name_f]Indigo[/name_f]. [name_f]Indigo[/name_f] strikes me as masculine.

I do like [name_f]Indigo[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Indigo[/name_f] is a cute sibset. At the end of the day if you like it that is all that matters!

Some other names that I think of as “spunky”:

I agree with the above poster, I like both, I think they are cute- even with a little bit of a different feel. But if you like the name, use it!

I also [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] a lot of her name suggestions, especially:
[name_f]Juno[/name_f], [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u], [name_f]Emmy[/name_f], [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] <3

@ goodkarmavt are [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]Grey[/name_u] in your signature not colours?
@ norameredith I love many of your suggestions! [name_f]Lola[/name_f] is a favourite but really dislike the meaning! [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] is gorgeous but my last name starts with C…

Not as a first name- big difference.

I once knew a girl named [name_f]Indigo[/name_f]. It gives off a cultural and almost Middle Eastern vibe to me. The similar [name_f]India[/name_f] seems exotic, yet very English, while [name_f]Indigo[/name_f] has less of a British association, but isn’t completely free of it. To me, anyway. I guess the way a name feels all depends on your first interaction with it. But if the match of [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Indigo[/name_f] feels right to you, then go with it:)

In my genealogy database siblings to Phoebes are [name_f]Mercy[/name_f], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lois[/name_f]. I like [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_u]Scout[/name_u], [name_f]Talullah[/name_f], [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Indigo[/name_f] and [name_f]Juno[/name_f].

I think [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Indigo[/name_f] are fine.
They’re both spunky names in different ways. I think they are stylistically different but for me that is fine as I have lots of different types of names I like.
