I have of course made a New Years Resolution and it is the same one that almost every woman I know makes at this time of the year.
Yes, go on a diet to lose the [name]Christmas[/name] flab. [name]Will[/name] my resolution last a week or can you inspire me? So, girls if you are willing to share one of your best dieting recipes please post here.
I became a vegan about 6 months ago. I lost 15 pounds in the first month and am down about 20-25 pounds total now. I am smaller now than before my babies and about the same size I was at 20. I started out just trying to do it for a week as a cleanse more than anything and a way to get myself to eat more fruits and vegetables. After a week, I felt great and it wasn’t hard to stick with it, so I have been doing it ever since.
I lost almost 30 pounds now doing a semi-vegetarian diet. I’m eating lots of vegetables and fruits and the only meat is fish. It’s all wild caught and organic stuff. I love this [name]Salmon[/name] Salad my husband made for me. It’s just baked salmon, stripped, and added to a bowl of [name]Romaine[/name] lettuce with a teeny bit of ranch. breakfast is usually some type of fruit.
Also, I eat more like 5 meals, which is what the nutritionist said to do. Eat a little breakfast (some type of fruit), a little snack of fruit or vegetable a few hours later, a few hours later is lunch, a few more hours another small snack, a few mores hours is dinner.
Combined with that, I do 30 minutes on a stationary bike 5 days of the week. I go hiking on the weekends.
I’ve been dieting 2 months now, lost 30 pounds on this routine.
if you’d like, I can email you a whole ebook with recipes and tips if you’d like. They’ve been helpful to me
You girls are AMAZING! I hope that I can get such great results, and thanks so much for the inspiration. Dantea I would love to receive the recipes and tips. I have trouble trying to work out 10 different ways of enjoying a salad.
I have been to the shops and now have a plentiful supply of yummy fruit and as we speak I am eating yoghurt and banana. I haven’t had one carb all day.
I have just bought a pair of capri pants in a size smaller to force myself into keeping up the diet.
Thanks heaps and any tips for someone who has been a grazer would be appreciated.

PS I play tennis and hope to join a walking group and I have just discovered the benefits of an mp3 player and plan on downloading books onto it when it arrives (2-4 weeks) then it will be more interesting walking around the block.
Well, send me your email address on here and i’ll be sure to email them to you. It’s not all salads
Also, be sure that if you’re eating yogurt, it needs to be Greek Yogurt, plain with some fruit sliced into it. It’s great! Much healthier than any other kind. And Plantains are healthier than bananas. It’s all in the stuff i’ll send you, bunches of lists and whatnot.
I have searched on the internet for plantain (I don’t know what they are but it looks like they are green bananas of some kind.) So far it seems that I may be able to buy them at some [name]Asian[/name] supermarkets. I will have to check it out.
Well, here in [name]America[/name], I can get them in [name]Wal[/name]-[name]Mart[/name] or other big grocery stores. They’re just little green bananas but they’re sweet.
On Pinterest I found a couple sites that talk about metabolism boosting foods, I’ll list them for you! My new years resolution was to get fit and healthy, not necessarily lose weight. Although, I’d be OK with that too!!
[name]Say[/name] no to dieting. It only messes up your metabolism and teaches you not to listen to your hunger/fullness. If you are going to over or under eat, focus on your feelings as you are doing it.
I have to second Meepallie about marksdailyapple.com
[name]Mark[/name] Sisson also has “The Primal Blueprint 21 day total body transformation” where he explains everything perfectly to you and how and why you should implement it into your life. Best of luck!
