Sue Ellen VS Suellen

I saw the name [name]Suellen[/name] today, all one word as a first name. I have never seen it before. Does it look better at a two part first name or as one? Also, what are your opinions on it? I can’t decide if I like it or not.

I don’t mind it but it makes me think of the character from [name]Dallas[/name] so a bit 70’s. I actually think making it one word updates it a bit - I tend to associate two-word first names with my mom’s generation. ([name]Mary[/name] [name]Jane[/name], etc…)

I quite like [name]Suellen[/name] spelt this way. I think it is classic and timeless. It always reminds me of the [name]Scarlett[/name] O’[name]Hara[/name]'s sister [name]Sue[/name] [name]Ellen[/name] from Gone With The Wind

[name]Hi[/name] like [name]Suellen[/name]!
Stops ppl just saying “sue” …

I like [name]Sue[/name] [name]Ellen[/name] better. I think it looks more appealing

I prefer [name]Sue[/name] [name]Ellen[/name]. [name]Suellen[/name] makes me think of “Swellen”
