Girls:
[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name]
The currently popular [name]Amelia[/name] is given a more unusual flavour by the vintage [name]Beatrice[/name], and the classic [name]Katherine[/name] makes the whole combination completely timeless and flow perfectly, in my opinion.
[name]Gillian[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Helena[/name] or [name]Gillian[/name] [name]Helena[/name] [name]Lux[/name]
I thought about [name]Gillian[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] [second middle], but I couldn”t shake the feeling that perhaps they shared too many of the same sounds. I still love them together, though, the serious [name]Gillian[/name] balanced out by the feminine and fun [name]Evangeline[/name], and perhaps the similar sounds won”t bother you. Of the two combinations I did choose, I think the first has the better flow, but I think the vintage [name]Helena[/name] and the unusual [name]Lux[/name] in the second balance out the serious [name]Gillian[/name] better.
[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name]
The ultimate classic is given a really feminine feel by [name]Rosalie[/name], and I thought [name]Jane[/name] just made the whole combination so perfect and refined.
[name]Sarah[/name] [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]
If the repeating A endings of [name]Sarah[/name] and [name]Lydia[/name] bother you then you could do [name]Margaret[/name] instead, but I personally love this combination, with the vintage unusual flavour of both middles complimenting the classic [name]Sarah[/name] in first place. [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] would also work, but it felt a little off to me only because [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is such a common double first name.
Boys:
[name]Henry[/name] [name]William[/name] [name]Luke[/name]
This whole name is just incredibly handsome and classic, and I think the flow is perfect, personally. I adore [name]Henry[/name]!
[name]Hugh[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Edmund[/name]
Personally, I would hesitate to use [name]Hugh[/name] if you use [name]Henry[/name]. But I love both of these middles, and I think the strong consonant sounds in them balance out the oh so gentle sound of [name]Hugh[/name] perfectly.
[name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Phillip[/name] [name]August[/name]
I think [name]Nathaniel[/name] is so handsome! [name]August[/name] is a wonderful choice, and I was actually going to do [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]August[/name] [name]Edmund[/name] for you, but I decided to use [name]Phillip[/name] to ground the whole combination. Not that [name]Nathaniel[/name], [name]Edmund[/name] or even [name]August[/name] are particularly fanciful names, but they”re all quite - proper? Vintage? I”m not sure, I just felt like they needed [name]Phillip[/name] in there!
[name]Matthew[/name] [name]Avery[/name] [name]Patrick[/name]
I didn”t want to reuse [name]Patrick[/name], really, but I felt like it fitted the combination better than any of the names I hadn”t yet used, personally.
