Suggested Corrections to Database (Boys' Names)

I think you want this entry to be: " ” Bruic" or just “Bruic”?

Bhaltairbhatair
https://nameberry.com/search/results/30
Two names running into each other. You have an entry for “[name]Bhaltair[/name]” but no entry for “Bhatair.” I suggest deleting “Bhaltairbhatair” and creating an entry for “Bhatair.”

[name]Crandall[/name],cranley
https://nameberry.com/babyname/boy/[name]Crandall[/name],cranley
Two names running into each other. You already have an entry for “[name]Crandall[/name],” but there is no entry for “Cranley.” I suggest deleting “[name]Crandall[/name],cranley” and creating an entry for “Cranley.”

Howells,howland
https://nameberry.com/babyname/boy/Howells,howland
Two names running into each other. You don’t have a separate entry for either, so I suggest making entries for “Howells” and “Howland.”

JC,j
https://nameberry.com/babyname/boy/Jc,j
Two names (?) running into each other. I think you want to change this entry to just “JC”.

Liberaratore
https://nameberry.com/babyname/boy/Liberaratore
I think this entry is a typo. It seems to have first appeared as a misprint in your book The [name]Baby[/name] Name Bible (page 465), and the error has since been perpetuated on various baby names websites which apparently swiped text from your book. (Hahaha! The copycats are all busted!) I believe the correct spelling should be: “Liberatore.”

[name]Ryland[/name],ryker
https://nameberry.com/babyname/boy/[name]Ryland[/name],ryker
Two names running into each other. You have a separate entry for “[name]Ryland[/name],” but no entry for “[name]Ryker[/name].” I suggest you delete “[name]Ryland[/name],ryker” and create an entry for “[name]Ryker[/name].”

There seems to be a problem with the diacritical marks you have placed over letters in some of the names. Here’s one example:

Sa”l
https://nameberry.com/search?gender=M&starts_with=s&ends_with=&syllables=&language_id=&meaning_group_id=&popularity=0&x=44&y=2
When you click on the name, nothing comes up. Here’s another:

Sams”
https://nameberry.com/search/results/7

Again, when you click on the name, nothing comes up. There are a lot of names like that. Perhaps the diacritical marks are messing up the search feature?

[name]Tarnberlane[/name]
https://nameberry.com/babyname/boy/[name]Tarnberlane[/name]
Another error, that originally appeared as a probable misprint in your [name]Baby[/name] Name Bible (page 556), where it more properly should have been “Tamberlane.” (the accidental change of an “m” to an “rn” is a frequent scanning problem). And, once again, you can tell who has been swiping your work and claiming it for their own ” as there are a few baby names websites that have perpetuated the error.

– [name]Nephele[/name]

[name]Nephele[/name], you are just so helpful! I am in awe

Under “[name]Clint[/name]”, it says, “As flinty and steely as Mr.
Nicknames & Variations:
[name]Eastwood[/name]”
[name]Eastwood[/name] is supposed to come before the word “nicknames”.

I just noticed that [name]Mainstream[/name] is listed as a nickname for [name]Mario[/name]. I think it’s supposed to be the last word in the description.

When Nameberry was first launched (I know since I’ve been a member almost from the beginning) there were quite a few names in which part of the description “spilled over” and some of the words/other names got listed as variations/nicknames of the original name. [name]Pam[/name] and [name]Linda[/name] caught a lot of them, but as you said there are still some lurking around.

One of my favourite ME-names is

Targon

I really like the sound of it, and it would be a name no-one else had I guess.

And… come to think of it, [name]Balin[/name] wouldnt be that bad either.

I have not yet thought about any girl names.
