Oh, thank you all so much! I had a bad week and so many extensive and thoughtful lists made me really happy tonight haha
I’ve spent a bit of time genuinely considering these especially ones that haven’t been on my radar before.

we share some of the same style, definitely
I looOOve [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] but my family had a dog with this name when I was growing up (she was gorgeous but can’t shake the fact she was a dog haha)

[name_m]Ah[/name_m], [name_f]Honey[/name_f] and [name_f]Lana[/name_f] are certainly special to me but I group them mentally as ‘‘too trendy’’ sadly (also have the above dog problem with [name_f]Honey[/name_f]… waaa). I’ve often thought I could love [name_f]Helena[/name_f], she’s so peaceful. Lots have been on my list in the past but just slid off, including all these lovely nicknames, [name_f]Betty[/name_f] (!), [name_u]Connie[/name_u], [name_f]Marcie[/name_f]. I am actually… dare I say… not so enthusiastic about just nicknames anymore. Never will I side with the ‘‘too cute for an adult!’’ crowd of course, but my own taste is shifting a little bit.
Thanks so much for reminding me about [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]. It has a really special meaning to my family actually but I’d never really considered it strangely. I know I could love it, I’m gonna let it ruminate a for a while and let you know ([name_u]Ronnie[/name_u] is adorable too!!)

[name_f]Ailsa[/name_f], how did I forget! In fact [name_f]Ailsa[/name_f] was one of the first names I loved (on an older girl I knew as a kid) and has been on and off my list for years. [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]'s popularity has made her feel a bit less magical sadly (I’ve heard them pronounced the same in a thoroughly disheartening Southern accent a couple of times). She’s might reappear as a middle name choice at some point though.
[name_f]Astraea[/name_f] is gorgeous, definitely on my rumination list. Never heard of Emuna or Estara but they’re both so striking, definitely have all the sounds I love too. Funnily [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] has been on my mind recently. I think it’s very underrated. I’m gonna be considering these, certainly
Thank you!

[name_f]Ursa[/name_f] and [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] are fab! Definitely my thing. I’ve thought about them briefly in the past but I’m looking into pagan mythology at the minute so the bear reference really appeals to me now. I’m gonna mull them over a bit more. [name_f]Gaia[/name_f] too, for similar reasons.
[name_f]Ondine[/name_f] is gorgeous (on my if-I-marry-a-Frenchman list). And finally [name_f]Isannah[/name_f] - I’ve never fully considered her but I don’t really know why not. So quiet and beautiful and similar to [name_f]Hosanna[/name_f] which I’ve played with a bit in the past. Cheers!

thanks! So many of these are so fab and lots have been on my list before, so here’s my cut of ones I’m gonna research and reconsider;
[name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] and [name_f]Demelza[/name_f] (I adore Cornish names, normally from afar for some reason), [name_f]Raphaela[/name_f] (an old fave!!) [name_f]Morven[/name_f] and [name_u]Mirren[/name_u], [name_f]Ardith[/name_f], [name_f]Cicely[/name_f], [name_f]Fern[/name_f], [name_f]Aster[/name_f] and [name_f]Fritha[/name_f]. Rosevear is fascinating, I’ve never heard of it, certainly some elements I love in there. I love [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f] in theory but worry it’s a little bit twee for some reason. I’m close to the sweetest little [name_f]Catrin[/name_f] so it’s both super special and sadly is unusable for me.
Cheers again!

oh, that means so much to me! Lots of these are fab suggestions - Gwenno! I’m rarely drawn to Bretonic elements but Gwenno jumps out at me hugely. I’ve never heard of it.
[name_f]Avis[/name_f] is great but it’s a pretty functional [name_m]French[/name_m] word (a mon avis, c’est seulement un mot!) so feels less appealing than [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] to me. I’ve thought about [name_f]Mab[/name_f] a bit over the years, she’d be a super cool Shakespearean nickname I think. [name_f]Fauna[/name_f] and [name_f]Annie[/name_f] are two I’ve overlooked in the past but could definitely adore, they’re on the rumination list Fiadhnait I haven’t thought about for years (I was once in a deep obsession with old Irish names). Feena makes her feel much more comfy - on the list too. Thanks again!

Such a fab long list, lots are old favourites in fact. [name_f]Angelica[/name_f], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], [name_f]Myrtle[/name_f], [name_f]Opal[/name_f], Ambel (lovely - haven’t seen it before, from [name_f]Amabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] I assume) and [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] are on the reconsider / mull-over / research list. Cheers

we do indeed! I’ve always admired your taste. This list is beautiful, lots I’ve loved in the past, some I’ve never thought about or heard of… let me do a (very unjust) quick chop of the ones to go on the rumination list…
[name_u]March[/name_u]
[name_u]Zola[/name_u]
[name_u]Valentine[/name_u] - not one I’ve thought about for a girl but is so striking.
[name_f]Imelda[/name_f] - I could definitely love this, a really fab suggestion.
Bloom
[name_f]Evadne[/name_f]
Siofra - an old love, she’s so magical.
[name_f]Blanche[/name_f] - thought a bit about this recently. I can see her coming back in the next 10 years in the UK, definitely!
[name_f]Leonor[/name_f]
[name_f]Dulcia[/name_f]
[name_f]Thais[/name_f]
[name_f]Sula[/name_f] - I actually just read the [name_m]Morrison[/name_m] novel in [name_u]January[/name_u], stunning (I admire all her name choices actually)
Isola
[name_f]Elula[/name_f]
[name_f]Osa[/name_f]
Kinvara - don’t think I’d ever use it but love seeing it. I’m also a champion for Kintyre (along with other random Irish/Scottish place names) which I push as all over Nameberry haha.
[name_u]Shura[/name_u] - already used this on my cat! would love to see it more. I named my kitty after Ted [name_m]Hugh[/name_m]'s daughter but there’s also an indy singer who I hope makes this gorgeous name more recognised.
