hi everyone, I just made a thread in the girl’s section and as we don’t know the gender, I thought I’d make one here too.

Im pregnant with my husband and I’s second child due on [name_u]January[/name_u] 15th, and we already have a child called [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] [name_u]West[/name_u] ([name_u]West[/name_u] is my [name_f]MIL[/name_f]'s maiden name).

We find boy names quite hard, and we don’t really have any names that we both love yet. We have a short list of names that we both like and wouldn’t mind using but we can’t really agree on anything.

our list is:
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
[name_m]Finnian[/name_m]
[name_m]Orlando[/name_m]
[name_m]Ulysses[/name_m] - I’m just worried that people will have trouble with pronouncing it.
[name_u]Oberon[/name_u].

The middle name will either be: [name_m]Hector[/name_m], [name_m]Waylon[/name_m], [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] or [name_m]Boone[/name_m], as they all have meaning to us but we want to decide on the first name before the middle.

I would love to use either [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] or [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] but my husband is set on using [name_m]Ulysses[/name_m]. So we’d love some new fresh names that you all think go well with [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] :slight_smile:

I prefer [name_m]Ulysses[/name_m] off of your list. I think it is very pronounceable. I have personally read [name_u]Joyce[/name_u], but it was also a presidential name. My best alternative is [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] ([name_m]Finnegan[/name_m]'s Wake). Here are more names (some of which are Shakespearean since you have a few listed):

I love love love [name_m]Ulysses[/name_m] (plan on using it as a middle for my #2 if it’s a boy) and think it is easy to pronounce.

I like [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] and [name_m]Finnian[/name_m] better with [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f], though. I love [name_m]Boone[/name_m] as a middle.

I think [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] is the best fit with [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f]! I like a lot of your names.

I’m not sure where you live, but I feel like most people know how to pronounce [name_m]Ulysses[/name_m]. At least in the US you first learn the name of the president in elementary school.

I like it a lot, but [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] is my favorite with [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f]. Great list though!
