[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Berries, we have a daughter named [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] and are getting ready for her sister. Our last name begins with [name_m]Iron[/name_m], so girl names that end in “-a” don’t flow well, and long or serious first names sound too heavy when put with the last name, so we are looking for preferably 2, max 3 syllable names that are fresh, soft but strong.
Our current top contenders are:
[name_f]Juno[/name_f]
[name_u]Indigo[/name_u]
[name_f]Sunday[/name_f]
We are looking for a sibset which complements without being matchy matchy. So no to another season name, or Autumnal names like Amber or Hazel, but yes to a noun name or nature name, for example.
What do you think of the names above, how do they pair as siblings, and do you have any fresh, strong, natural, non-a ending suggestions to add to the list?
I’m personally not a fan of the boy names on girls but it’s very trendy right now. If it has sentimental value go for it!

I love the name [name_f]Juno[/name_f] so that gets my vote for sure. [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] is lovely too - fresh and quirky. [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] is my least favourite but I do still like it and I actually think it probably goes best with [name_f]Autumn[/name_f].
Oh I love the idea of [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] and [name_f]Juno[/name_f] as sisters!!! Wow wow wow what a pair.
My only sidenote with this choice is that [name_f]Juno[/name_f] does sounds very similar to [name_u]June[/name_u]. But really just a gorgeous set.
Though I honest to goodness think [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] would be an equally fabulous choice here. I tend to be a little on the fence with day names but I am just loving [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Juno[/name_f] is maybe a “safer” choice out of those two but I would just choose whichever name really sings to you when you say it.
I mean all three of your options here are perfect for what you’re looking for so you can be confident that whatever choice you make is the right one.
Although [name_f]Juno[/name_f] is more my style, I think [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] make perfect sisters! They have very similar colours in my mind, so fit together well, but don’t seem matchy-matchy.
I love [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], it’s so bright and spunky and beautiful with [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]. I also think [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] & [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] are adorable together and love the alliteration with her last name.

I love [name_u]Indigo[/name_u]! It’s such a pleasant sounding name & has beautiful imagery. It’s strong, spunky, fairly unique, kind of artsy…really perfect w/Autumn. And if you’re into nns, [name_f]Idgie[/name_f] is adorable.
Juno is really fun too, but I’d be tempted to do [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] nn [name_f]Juno[/name_f]. It goes better w/Autumn, & seems more like a full name.
Sunday is certainly different, but saying [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] & [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] together are both words that describe a time, you know? They seem a little match-y.
I love [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] and [name_f]Juno[/name_f] or [name_u]Indigo[/name_u]!
For some more ‘out-there’ kind of names, maybe [name_u]River[/name_u] or [name_f]Star[/name_f]? If you’re okay with the same ending, something like [name_u]Raven[/name_u] or [name_u]Wren[/name_u]?
I think that any flower or plant name would also go well!
I love all of your choices but I would probably pick [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], on the grounds that the other two feel maybe a bit time/season themed alongside [name_f]Autumn[/name_f].
